            The Crypt keeper, while directing his new theatrical destruction, introduces this horror flick. It starts with Brayker (William Sadler) a Demon Knight, driving down a highway near a small town. He is being chased by a demon named the collector, (Billy Zane) who is after an ancient relic that Brayker has. It contains the blood of Jesus, and deceased demon knights. That blood is the only thing that can stop a demon that powerful. Shortly after Brayker's car breakdown, Zane slams into it going over 100 m.p.h. Brayker escapes and makes to a small hotel to hide out. The police show up and get a false story from The Collector who lies to them about Brayker and says that he stole the relic. Soon, The police bring The Collector to the motel to confront Brayker. After being arrested, Brayker got free and the sheriff finds out that collector is no saint. Then, the fierce war begins. Brayker uses the relic to drive the collector from the motel, and the collector summons an army of demons to help him kill Brayker and destroy the blood that can defeat him. Brayker has to get the the 8 humans trapped inside through the night and orient his replacement. One by one the humans are possessed or conned and then killed by The Collector. The demons and the humans battle back and forth until the Collector's army is completely wiped out and Brayker and his new recruit, Jeryline (Jada Pinkett Smith) prepare for a final battle with the Collector for the survival of the human race. After the battle Brayker is dead and Jeryline kills The Collector. The movie ends when the new demon knight and a new Collector cross paths.

            In this sequel to 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure', the music of Bill and Ted's band, Wyld Stallyns, has created a utopian future society. Chuck De Nomolos, who detests this society, steals one of the time-traveling phone booths and sends two robots modeled after Bill and Ted back to the late 20th century to prevent Bill and Ted from winning the San Dimas Battle of the Bands. Rufus attempts to stop De Nomolos but seemingly becomes lost in the circuits of time.In the present day, five years after Bill and Ted first traveled through time with Rufus' help to pass their history project and graduate from high school, the Wyld Stallyns is preparing for the contest. Though Bill and Ted's current fiancées, and former 15th-century princesses, Elizabeth and Joanna have become skilled musicians in working alongside them, Bill and Ted are still inept singers and songwriters. Despite this, the organizer Ms. Wardroe assures them a slot in the contest as the final act. Bill's young stepmother Missy divorces his father in favor of Ted's, who threatens Ted with military school should they fail the Battle of the Bands. Evil Bill and Evil Ted arrive and the robots eventually replace Bill and Ted, killing them by throwing the two over the side of a cliff at Vasquez Rocks. The robots behave rudely to the princesses and work to ruin the duo's fame.Bill and Ted's souls are met by Death who challenges them in a game for their souls. Bill and Ted escape after giving Death a "melvin". They attempt to alert their families but their ethereal forms prove difficult, and at one point, are cast down into Hell at a séance held by Missy. In Hell, they are tormented by Satan, made to face their own fears, manifesting as Col Oates, the Easter Bunny, and Granny S. Preston, and realize their only escape is to take Death's offer. Taken to Death's chambers, the spirit gives them the option of what game to play. Bill and Ted, to Death's dismay, select modern games like Battleship, Clue, and Twister, easily beating Death. Death admits defeat and unwillingly becomes their servant. Bill and Ted recognize they need to locate the smartest person in the universe to help build robots to counter De Nomolos' evil robots. Death escorts the two to Heaven, and with God's help, are directed to an alien named Station who has the ability to split into two identical twins, and readily offers to help Bill and Ted.Death brings them back to Earth in the mortal world, where it is the night of the Battle of the Bands. Bill and Ted take Station to a hardware store, and then race in their van back to the concert while Station constructs good robots. Just as the evil robots take the stage, Bill and Ted arrive, and Station's robots easily defeat the evil ones. Just then, De Nomolos appears in the time booth, ready to defeat Bill and Ted himself, and overrides the broadcasting equipment to send the video footage of this to everyone on the planet. The two recognize they can later go back in time to arrange events for De Nomolos to be trapped in the present, aided by Death and Station; though De Nomolos is apparently able to do the same, Bill and Ted gain the upper hand with the explanation that it is only the winners who get to go back, and De Nomolos is arrested by Ted's father. Ms. Wardroe reveals herself to be a disguised Rufus, having assured Bill and Ted's spot in the concert, and urges them to play.As Bill and Ted reunite with their fiancées, they realize they are still terrible musicians, and the four use the time booth to travel through time to practice. Although they return immediately after less then a minute, Bill and Ted claim that "an intense 16 months of guitar training, plus a two week honeymoon" have passed for them. They have married the princesses and each is raising a young infant "Little Ted" and "Little Bill". They begin to perform a stunning rock ballad, joined by Death, Station, and the good robots. The worldwide broadcast set by De Nomolos continues, and Wyld Stallyns' music is played across the globe, creating harmony.Over the end credits, it's shown through newspaper articles that the band, along with Death, go through many perks of fame before eventually taking their act to the planet Mars.
    

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey


            Jimmy and Judy is the latest cross country crime spree film to appear on the silver screen,
and on dvd. The film follows the youth angst genre of crime films that was first started
by The Doom Generation, and Natural Born Killers.Edward Furlong (Terminator 2) stars as Jimmy, and Rachael Bella costars as Judy. James Eckhouse (Beverly Hills 90210) plays Jimmy's Dad, and William Sadler portrays
Uncle Rodney.The film uses a lot of hand held cameras, much like Blair Witch Project, and Cloverfield.
Jimmy records most of the sex scenes, and shooting sprees, with help from Judy.At the start of the film Jimmy spies on his Dad cross dressing, and having sex with
his mother (Gay Storm) getting into a bondage orgy.Jimmy and Judy then run over a street person, and get pulled over by the cops. Jimmy
shoots the officer, and we later find out the cop car had video camera running.There is another scene where Jimmy shoots down a speed freak, who is raping a female
druggie. Jimmy makes Judy hold the gun with him during the shooting.The fugitives then make their way to a ranch owned by Uncle Rodney. Uncle Rodney forces Judy to have sex with him, so that the couple can stay on the ranch. Jimmy
shoots Uncle Rodney, and rescues Judy from her.The outlaws get stopped by the cops at a roadblock, and are gunned down after Judy
refuses to stop the vehicle.Jimmy and Judy has a lot of gratuitous violence, and provides a kind of social commentary about a couple of doomed misfits. Uncle Rodney provides an interesting
observation about how the counter culture is dead, and how his group of bohemian
dropouts are garbage, that are going to burn down corporate capitalist society.Edward Furlong, and Rachel Bella provide strong performances. William Sadler also
does great acting as Uncle Rodney.The film is well directed, and written by Randall Rubin, and Jon Schroder.Jimmy and Judy does provide a compelling story of a Kentucky crime spree, but falls short of other films like Natural Born Killers. Jimmy and Judy will probably obtain a cult following much like the The Doom Generation has.

            Back in 1983 Mason Storm (Seagal) is a Los Angeles police detective who is investigating a mob meeting taking place by a pier. He spies on them with a video camera and captures on tape a shadowy figure telling the other people that they can rely on his political support, emphasizing this by saying "And you can take that to the bank!" Storm is spotted but manages to get away. Driving home and unaware of another pair of cops listening in, Mason informs first his partner then his friend Lt. O'Malley (Coffin) that he has evidence of corruption, and will be bringing the tape to them soon. He goes into a store to get Champagne and a teddy bear to give to his son. The store is robbed, with one of the robbers shooting the clerk. Mason manages to stop them and afterwards goes home, intent on celebrating with his wife Felicia (Bonnie Burroughs). Before he does anything else, Mason hides the tape in a small hole in his kitchen wall. When he goes upstairs, a hit squad composed of corrupt policemen, including Jack Axel (Boswell) and Max Quentero (Richmond), working for the politician, break in and proceed to murder Mason's wife and shoot him. Mason's young son Sonny, (Bara) manages to hide until the danger passes. At the same time, Storm's partner is shot by a masked assassin whilst seated beside his window. At the hospital, Mason is found to be alive, but in a coma. Lieutenant O'Malley informs the medics to tell people that Mason died, to prevent anyone from coming back for him later. Mason is set up by the corrupt policemen as having murdered his wife and committed suicide.Seven years later, Mason wakes from his coma. Andy (LeBrock), one of the two nurses monitoring him, makes a phone call, which is intercepted by one of the corrupt police officers who want to see Mason dead. They send Jack Axel to the hospital to finish the job and kill the nurses to whom Mason might have talked. Mason realizes that he is still in danger but his muscles have atrophied to where he can barely use his arms. He manages to get himself to an elevator, and when Andy sees her colleagues killed, she helps Mason escape from the hospital.Needing time to recuperate, Andy brings Mason to a friend's house, where Mason uses his knowledge of acupuncture, moxibustion and other meditation techniques to recover his strength. While training, Mason hears a commercial for Senator Vernon Trent (Sadler) on television, who caps the commercial with the phrase, "And you can take that to the bank!" Recognizing the voice, Mason now knows who he has to go after to get his revenge and even mocks Trent's phrase by saying "I'm gonna take you to the bank, Senator Trent. To the blood bank!". Mason contacts O'Malley, who comes over with some weapons for Mason. O'Malley tells Mason that his son is still alive - O'Malley took Mason's son in and raised him, sending him to a private school so that he would be out of danger. O'Malley then leaves. However, Senator Trent's men find the house where Mason and Andy are and attempt to kill them, but Mason manages to get them both out again.Mason then goes back to his old house. Posing as realtors looking to see if the house is one that can be put on the market, Mason breaks through the plaster in the kitchen to get the tape he hid. Mason then goes to meet O'Malley in a train station, where O'Malley brings Mason's now teenage son. They do not see each other, because as Mason arrives, O'Malley is already dead having been shot (by Max) after giving the tape to Andy for safe-keeping while providing a distraction for Sonny (Rosencrantz) to get away. When Mason arrives, he sees his son running away from two of the corrupt officers (recognizing one who helped murder his wife). Mason catches up with the men, kills Max and saves his son and decides to go after Senator Trent at his home.At the Senator's mansion, Mason sneaks in and manages to take the Senator's men down one by one. Mason fights with Axel in the billiard room, ending with him jamming a pool stick into his neck. Mason finally manages to confront Senator Trent and holds him at gunpoint when the police storm the mansion. However, rather than arresting Mason, the police arrest Senator Trent and take him away. Mason is then reunited with Andy and his son and walk off as the image from the videotape is played, showing Trent coming out of the shadows briefly, wondering who it is that is taping him.

            Gregory Wilks (DJ Walls), who likes to call himself Joe, is a wimpy, clumsy man working in a burger joint, cleaning it. He is bullied and tormented by a ruthless jerk of a man, Mr. Krolick (William Sadler). Despite trying to tell himself that his life does not suck, he feels, deep down, that it does. After enduring severe, debasing abuse such as being forced to push his arm up to the elbow in a toilet in order to clean it, being told to "Get the Feces!" and finally, being presented with a toilet brush for his birthday, Joe is finally fired by Krolick as an incompetent.Pushed too far, Joe buys a gun (he only has enough money to afford "The Junior" handgun) and a video camera, rents a room at a motel, and records a video of himself telling "the degenerates" who hate him and bully him, that he is going to make them pay, and bring them to a day of reckoning. He puts the film in the mailbox, the envelope made out to CNN.Joe goes back to the burger joint, planning to carry out a shooting. Although he envisions himself doing it, he doesn't have the courage to go through with it, and sits in the bathroom, accidentally dropping some of his bullets. On the way out, one of the patrons, a pretty brunette woman named Stefanie (Nikki Reed) deposits her trash in the bin, and happens to glance at Joe on her way out. Distracted, and mistaking her glance as interest, Joe follow her out and tries to make small talk. Stefanie is dismissive of him, not wanting to talk to him, and finally, when her cell phone rings, she simply turns her back to Joe, taking the call.Something inside Joe snaps and he bats the phone out of her hand, berates her, and finally pulls his gun, jamming it into her hip. He walks her behind a dumpster near the burger joint and berates her further on her demeanor. Now frightened, Stefanie clams up, trying not to look him in the eye. A police squad car pulls up to the burger joint and Joe sees two police officers step out of the car and begin talking to Mr. Krolick. Railing at how he will shoot Stefanie if she tries to struggle or scream, he walks her away, out of view.Mr Krolick had found the bullets Joe dropped, after using the bathroom, and called the police to "imply" that Joe was up to no good, but the cops don't take him seriously because there's no proof of who dropped them.Joe takes Stefanie back to his motel. Despite her struggles, including stabbing him with a small blade she managed to take out of her purse, he pushes her into his room and leaves her tied up (albeit flimsily) in the bathtub. She watches, still frightened, as he washes and bandages the small wound she'd dealt him. Stefanie thinks that Joe was going to rob the burger joint and begs him to let her go, promising that she doesn't care if Joe robs the burger joint. She tells Joe she has a five year old son she has to get home to, but Joe doesn't believe her. Joe leaves the bathroom and wrestles with his emotions, He contemplates killing himself, his face wrinkling as he tries to amass enough courage to do it, but he can't.Stefanie wriggles out of her bindings. She accidentally bangs the tub, which attracts Joe's attention. He opens the door, and Stefanie lunges at him with a knife. His back against the wall, struggling against her lunge with all his strength, Joe manages to push her arms around to one side, and belts her with one hand, knocking her out.Still suspicious of Joe, Mr. Krolick tries to ask his other employees about any "suspicious activity." The other employees are not overly bright, are lethargic, and blithely carry out several types of food safety and cleanliness violations, all of which Mr. Krolick overlooks.Stefanie is back in the tub; she's now tied up tighter, and she's gagged as well. Joe continues talking aimlessly, as if he's pouring his heart out to her. She watches as Joe rummages through her purse, and he's amused to find she has several joints there. Removing her gag, Joe shares one with her and despite her fear, the two begin to bond.Joe takes Stefanie out of the tub and they lie side by side on the bed. Joe accidentally tells Stefanie his real name. Shocked, Stefanie recognizes the name; it turns out they went to the same high school. Stefanie remembers an infamous legend in the school, that Gregory Wilks had been caught masturbating in a study hall, and she begins laughing hysterically, begging to hear Joe retell the tale. Joe snaps again, yelling at her about how embarrassing it was, and that school faculty played a security camera recording of the incident, to his parents. Cursing, he punches a wall of the motel, hard enough to hurt his hand. Suddenly feeling sympathy, Stefanie, who works as a nurse's aide in a hospital, examines Joe's hand and administers some basic first aid. Joe unties her hands and she uses the cloth to wrap up Joe's hand.Back at the burger joint, Mr. Krolick is beginning to act paranoid. He shadowboxes in front of a mirror, holding a knife, smack talking at his reflection.Joe's mother calls his cell phone, and he tells her he won't be home for dinner. He admits to Stefanie he still lives with his family at home, and is surprised when Stefanie admits she's jealous. She tells him her father left the family when she was very young, and her mother died of cancer when she was 14. She lived with her aunt until finishing high school, but they didn't get along.Stefanie notices Joe's video camera, and asks if she may see it. Joe agrees, since the film has been put in the mailbox. But Joe forgets about the camera's memory card; Stefanie replays the recording he made and realizes what Joe was really intending to do at the burger joint. Horrified, Joe grabs the camera and breaks it. In a daze, he admits he doesn't know what to do any more, and feels a lot of pressure. Stefanie admits she almost attempted suicide after her mother died. Both of them feel very awkward and have trouble talking further.But Stefanie no longer feels threatened by Joe, and she sees he couldn't go through with the shooting. Joe finds he now believes Stefanie's earlier promise not to report him to the police. They leave the motel together. Joe comments about the weather, and Stefanie says, "It's the last day of summer." Joe lets Stefanie go.Joe disposes of the video camera, and passes by the burger joint as Mr. Krolick is closing up. Joe confronts him, suddenly sporting a hard gleam in his eyes and speaking in a firm, don't-mess-with-me tone as he tells Krolick off, blasting him over his despicable attitude and treatment of Joe. Krolick falls into a squat against the wall of the burger joint as Joe tells him he can "go flush himself" and finally, despite all of Mr. Krolick's behavior, he's not Joe's problem. As Joe walks away, Mr. Krolick finds his knife in his pocket and drops it to the ground, and breaks down crying at his own cowardice.Joe disposes of his gun, and in a voiceover, announces very affirmatively, that his life does not suck.

            Holly & Nathan Teller live in a small town in Pennsylvania. Holly is on the cheerleading team and has a close relationship with her younger brother Nathan, who is subjected to bullying at school.Nathan is taken for a car ride one day by the bullies, whose intent about what they are going to do with Nathan is not clear. He gives them the slip, but disappears and is still missing after three years. His sister Holly never gives up hope, and one day is certain she has seen Nathan. She gives chase and finds the small and eerie town of Riddle, where no one shares their secrets and strangers are unwelcome. Holly continues to pursue her brother's trail, with the help of three of her school associates, and despite a wall of silence, and the taciturn treatment from the remaining townspeople, discovers far more than she ever imagined.
