Von Decarlo Brown is a multi-talented comedian, actress, and author of the book, "Speak Fluent Man". Also known as "Coach Von", she hosts a weekly podcast called the Coach Von Podcast. Von Decarlo is a double first name. Her mother named her after Yvonne DeCarlo, the actress who played Lily Munster.Von Decarlo first appeared on FOX's original Temptation Island as the first single female to be voted off the island by the other female cast member for being too intimidating. She began her comedy career in New York City soon after, writing and performing parodies and sketches for the Crazy Al Cayne show. Their video T & A was the first parody rap video to appear on BET Uncut. She continued her career in comedy performing stand up at many premier venues throughout New York City, and her one woman show Lasagna debuted at The People's Improv Theatre to a full crowd and rave reviews. She is a graduate of the UCB improv program, and a UCB diversity scholarship recipient.Von Decarlo produced three of Patrice's O'Neal's posthumous comedy albums: Mr. P, Unreleased, and The Lost Files.
