Actor/Writer/Director Ty Hodges was raised in a Barbadian and Trinidadian family in Miami, FL. Ty started acting at the age of 11, first in theater, and then in television and film. At 16, Mr. Hodges landed a starring role in Janet Jackson's video "Go Deep". His family soon moved to Hollywood to follow his passion. Shortly thereafter, he became a Disney actor for five years, most notably in the roles of Larry Beale in the Emmy-nominated "Even Stevens" and Larry Houdini in "Don't Look Under the Bed." He had the honor of being in Oprah Winfrey's "David and Lisa" alongside Sidney Poitier. Other roles include "The Young Little Richard Story" and parts in "Boston Public," "Felicity," "The District," and "NYPD Blue." Mr. Hodges appeared in "The Challenge" with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, "Material Girls" with Hilary and Haylie Duff and numerous other movies.In 2006, Mr. Hodges added writing and directing to his repertoire.
