After just one day he was helping his adviser and fellow students build the campus broadcast and recording facilities.During his junior year at Penn State, Tom acquired his first professional position, producing commercials, programs, and reading commercial copy live on the air, while still a full-time student. There was only one 60 second commercial, read live 25-30 times per show, six days a week, for months on end. He soon came to the realization that to engage a listener with limited material, one must vary the delivery and interpretation of scripted advertising copy. Sheer boredom drove him to ad-lib. Tom jokingly recalls, "That's where I earned my B.A. in B.S."Tom's sense of humor, distinctive voice and unique style quickly gained him notoriety as a voice talent. His audio production painted breathtakingly visual scenarios, his voice unique, credible and compelling. That distinctive sound and his production skills and talents gained the respect of his peers.Soon thereafter, he added the title "Production Director" to his resume, a distinction that was to bestowed upon him six more times over the years before he finally became an independent producer and full-time voice actor.Since then Tom Daniels' Voice has been heard by millions around the world as various characters and the narrator of television commercials, documentaries and films.
