Mad Dogs

FEARLESS - a ten year old rural African boy who finds his inner courage.
DOG - a big black dog and Fearless' faithful companion.
SONNY FRANK - a loveable rogue with a penchant for telling tall stories.
REINI - a very cute orphaned female baby rhino. The killing of Reini's mother by poachers sets these four on an ill-advised, sometimes funny and deeply moving journey through the wild African bush to an equally wild African city. Their purpose - to kidnap the ambassador of a South-East Asian country to force an end to the trade in rhino horn and the slaughter of these wonderful animals.
A quest which goes very, very wrong. The action returns to the bush, where the four are forced to take on a platoon of merciless poachers, led by the terrifying ranger turned poacher, Dolf, with whom Sonny has a past. Our courageous four finally win the battle, assisted by a patriarchal rhino, a lioness, a hippo, a snake and some magical wild mushrooms...
The final scene sees Fearless, with Reini at his side, apologising for the suffering and cruelty and killing that his human tribe have inflicted on Reini's tribe, in a prayer for a new beginning.Frank &Fearless is a riveting adventure containing action, comedy, magic, tragedy, terror, tears and triumph. At its core is the quest of a young boy to save the rhinos of our world.Leon Schuster, as ageing Sonny Frank, is South Africa's premier box office attraction, filling over 10 million theatre seats over a thirty-five year screen career. Up until 2010 four of his films were in the top seven grossing S.A. films ever, along with Lord of the Rings, Titanic and Avatar. His films have sold all over world, primarily on television, the two highest sellers being "Yankee Zulu" and "Mr Bones".
Dog, the large, protective and ever present Rottweiler, is the cornerstone of the cast.
The character of Reini, the baby rhino, was built in prefect 3D live action animation.
A family film, with a timeless story, from the great heart of Africa.
