He was an actor and director, known for The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (1981), The Boat That Rocked (2009) and A Bridge Too Far (1977). He was married to Noelyn George, Beth Morris, Celestine Randall and Barbara Mognaz. He died on October 4, 2019.
