Stephanie Herrera's work in the arts has led to nominations for a Latin American Achievement Award and a Canadian Comedy Award. She has won a THEA for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and the Art of Transition "Best Entertainment" Award from the Durham Region. Stephanie has performed in a plethora of TV, film, commercials, theatre, improv and sketch shows, including "Tony and Tina's Wedding" at Second City and as a main-stage performer of TheatreSports Toronto. As a voice-over actor, Stephanie has lent her voice to such projects as A&E, York University, TransCanada Pipeline, Dyson Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Jergens, to name a few. She was the co-host on the Rogers TV show "Hurry up love" and "Daytime" as well as the community producer and host of "Stephanie's Comedy Chat" and "A Night with Colin Mochrie". She is the founder of Durham Improv Collective Inc., is on the Board of the Durham Region International Film Festival and heads the judging and industry panel for the Future of Film Showcase in Toronto. She has shared the stage with Canadian greats such as Colin Mochrie, Patrick McKenna, Peter Wildman, and Linda Kash. She writes articles, blogs, and dinner theatre shows regularly, with a focus on scripts for TV and film. Her greatest accomplishments are her four, overly dramatic children and her book "The Ten Commandments (of Improvising)".
