The son of a mob boss brings in a film crew, who end up being undercover FBI agents, to document his life as a dysfunctional and delusional gangster. Filming in Las Vegas and Chicago, "This Is Our City" aims to spearhead the city's rising filmmaking boom, bolstered by Mark Wahlberg's initiative to establish a studio in Sin City. With successful crime comedies like "The Hangover" and "Ocean's 13," Las Vegas's cinematic appeal is clear, and "This Is Our City" aims to contribute to this trend. Combining the crime genre with mockumentary comedy, the film draws inspiration from Reno 911. and Harold Ramis, featuring outlandish characters and a unique, enjoyable experience. The mockumentary format offers a fresh take on crime-themed comedy, balancing satire, wit, and repeatable characters.
