Mr. Segall began performing on stage at the age of 2. At the age of 4, he was cast as series regular Ricky Stevens on "The Partridge Family". He would go on to work in television and film on projects such as "Little House On The Prairie", "Police Woman", "The Blue Knight", "Fernwood Tonight", "Temperatures Rising", "How To Eat Like A Child" with Dick Van Dyke, "The Last Married Couple In America", "Oh God Book II", "I Love LIberty", "Laker Girls", "The Tonight Show", "The Merv Griffin Show", "The Mike Douglas Show", and two seasons as a series regular on "The Tim Conway Show".At the age of 12, his attentions turned to theatre as he was cast in Anthony Newley's musical "Chaplin". Thereafter, he was cast as Eugene in two different productions of Neil Simon's "Brighton Beach Memoirs" followed by his portraying that same character in the other two installments of the Neil Simon trilogy, namely, "Biloxi Blues" and "Broadway Bound". He went on to do productions of "Come Blow Your Horn", "I'm Not Rappaport", "The Music Man", and "Danny & The Deep Blue Sea". Some of Mr. Segall's favorite parts have been the roles of Fagin in "Oliver", Tevye in "Fiddler On The Roof", Claudius in "Hamlet" (which he also directed) and "Saint John In Exile": a one-person play originated by Dean Jones (Mr. Segall is the only other actor Mr. Jones has ever allowed to do the show).In 2004, he became the Director of The Harvest Academy Conservatory of Fine Art with primary teaching/training contributions in Theatre. In 2008, he was cast in the world premiere of Erin Kamler's "Divorce: The Musical" at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood. Originally slated to run for only a few weeks, "Divorce: The Musical" was extended for months with The Los Angeles Times calling it "Genuinely artful, a vivid mosaic" and Mr. Segall's performance as "simply terrific, brimming with a raw emotionalism that is heart-rending." In 2010, he played Sir Dinadan in David Lee's production of "Camelot" at The Pasadena Playhouse followed by two lead roles in the NY Film Academy short "Meant To Be" and the AFI short " Baby Blue".For years he has presented his self-written/directed, critically acclaimed 80-minute, multi-character, one-man show "Barbarian".As a social mead influencer, Rick can be see every day on his three YouTube channels:" Our Stupid Reactions"," Our Stupid Reactions 2.0", and his personal YouTube channel "Rick Segal"l
