After graduating from the University of Kent in Canterbury with a degree in Film Studies with honours, Richard worked for several years in the bustling Soho world of post production, honing his skills working for a top Post Production Consultant.Following a brief stint as a specialist film festival submissions coordinator, in 2006 he moved into production on low budget features, starting as a 3rd AD and working his way up to Production Manager within 2 years on medium budget features.Living and working all around the world (Holland, France, Canada, Las Vegas and Los Angeles) between 2006 and 2009, he completed work on a number of award winning low to medium budget features, including several as an associate producer.In 2009, he moved to Palmbrokers in the UK as a key greens man. Since that time, he has worked on a huge number of television shows, commercials and features, including a number of big budget projects.Since 2014, he has written, produced and directed 8 award winning short films which have screened at festivals around the world.His debut feature film, "Dogged" was released on VOD and DVD in July 2018 in the UK and North America - following a very successful worldwide festival tour which included winning numerous awards - a modern day "folk horror" which paid homage to classics of the sub-genre.
