            What happens when your life takes a hard flip? Teenager Caleb Jones goes skateboarding.
With no father in his life to guide him and his mother, Beth, working two jobs to make ends meet, Caleb believes nothing matters in life but becoming a sponsored skater to get him away from all his troubles. When his mother falls ill, Caleb is forced to deal with her illness and his lack of responsibility. Now on his own, he sets out to find the father he never knew when he stumbles upon some old love letters.
Out of hurt and anger, Caleb reluctantly contacts his father Jack, who happened to live the next town over from him his entire life. Calebs only real friend, a crazy, homeless, street preacher named Ralph, speaks nuggets of Truth through Gods Word, guiding Caleb along his journey. Through the tragedy of his mothers illness and the sudden appearance of the father he never knew, Caleb becomes the man his mother always prayed hed be.             Joseph Hoover of the 121st New York Volunteer Infantry, promoted to the rank of Corporal but a month ago, sits in the crowded confines of a cattle car. His experience tells him to keep his head down, but always aware of some opportunity. He is headed for the stockade near Florence, SC. Arriving with nearly 600 other prisoners, they find the stockade incomplete, and they are kept in a closely guarded camp in a field next to the train tracks near to where they disembarked the train. After a few days, he has a chance and together with his friend Thomas they make a run for it and escape. Now on the run they are prisoners to the woods and the unfamiliar territory, no food , no shelter and hope fading fast. They keep walking, eating berries and whatever they can scrounge up. Exhausted they finally reach a plantation and they ask the slaves for help. Their spirits sore when they are helped by slaves who see in the two soldiers, the opportunity they wish they had. To Hoover's amazement, help comes from those that have so little. They move on and end up at yet another plantation where they are caught but made to feel safe. While the master of the house sends for the militia to come get them. They are helped by a slave named Jim Young, and they run. Being chased once again they take to river and make their way to New Bern. They end up on yet another plantation, but this time the slaves are part of what is now known as the underground railroad. They help the two soldiers and Jim going from contact to contact. They help them get back to the Union lines, but not without an amazing adventure.

            When mischievous teenaged cousins Bo Duke (Jonathan Bennett) and Luke Duke (Randy Wayne) are arrested (Bo for reckless driving during his drivers ed exam, and Luke for setting off fireworks at a carnival), both boys are paroled to the care of their Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson) in Hazzard County, Georgia sentenced to a summer of hard work.Jesse is carrying on the family tradition of producing the best moonshine in the county since his grandfather began doing it more then 80 years ago during the age of Prohibition. Bo and Luke quickly tire of farm work and take an interest in some of the local girls of Hazzard.One day, in attempting to visit the Boar's Nest, the town's hangout bar, they see Jesse meeting with J.D. 'Boss' Hogg (Christopher McDonald). Jesse is arranging for his regular bribe to the County Commissioner to look the other way from his illegal moonshine operation. In the course of this meeting, the Duke boys inadvertently allow Hogg's prize pig to escape. The pig climbs onto the roof and is injured in the attempt to get it down. Furious, Boss Hogg demands a sizable amount of money from Jesse, due in two weeks, or he will foreclose on the farm.Jesse believes his only recourse is his moonshine operation, but he cannot deliver enough shine in two weeks. Bo and Luke volunteer, and set off to find a fast car to do the job.The boys enlist the help of their cousin Daisy Duke (April Scott), who has just turned 18 but is somewhat of a wallflower who wonders why boys don't notice her. She takes them to the high-school shop class, where they meet perennial senior Cooter Davenport, who gives them a fast engine. After comandeering a go-cart and race through the school and end up being chased by the hall monitor Enos, and a horde of irate scantly-clad girl whom they anger by driving through the girls locker room, the escape from the school. Bo, Luke and Cooter go to the town's junkyard to find a suitable car for their engine, but don't like what they see. On their way home, they find some girls sunbathing next to a local pond. Bo knocks Luke in to try to impress the girls, but upon learning from Cooter that most people who jump in end up either "crippled, on life support, or brain damaged." Bo then jumps in to save him but Cooter ends up saving Luke. While underwater, Bo discovers an abandoned 1969 Dodge Charger and believes it would be the perfect car. They extract the car from the pond, add the engine and some new paint, and the General Lee is born.The moonshine deliveries go well. However, just as it seems they will be able to pay off Hogg, the Boss announces Hazzard is now a dry county, and offers a $25,000 reward for anyone who uncovers an illegal moonshine operation. He will turn the Boar's Nest into an ice cream parlor.Meanwhile, Daisy falls for a new Boar's Nest bartender, Hughie, and applies for a job at the bar. He says she's not the type of girl who should work there, so she undergoes a makeover, cutting the pants off her jeans, to impress him. When she shows up wearing almost no clothes, with her hair let down, Hughie hires her immediately, and agrees to take her on a date.Jesse then holds a large party to raise funds for the farm, but Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco arrest Jesse for illegal moonshine sales, and seize Jesse's assets. Daisy, Bo and Luke visit him in jail, and he tells them that Boss is as corrupt as anyone, and the best way to get Jesse off is to find evidence of this. Bo and Luke soon discover Hogg's plan. He wants to convince all the county commissioners in Georgia to ban alcohol, thus paving the way for a thriving ice cream business. More importantly, with all the ridge-runners in jail, Hogg will then be free to make a fortune selling his own illegal shine, turning the Boar's Nest into a speakeasy.His secret? He wants the Duke family still, which produces the best shine in the County. It turns out Hughie is his nephew, and during his date with Daisy convinced her to tell him about the family secrets. Daisy is devastated.At the climax, the Dukes crash the campaign fundraiser, and kidnap Boss Hogg and ride off in the General Lee with the police in tow. They threaten to drive into Hogg Ravine unless he tells them his plan. He is too scared not to tell, and his confession is broadcast over the CB thanks to Daisy's manipulation of Enos at the station. The Dukes then jump the ravine anyway (their first jump), and catch Hughie delivering illegal moonshine into Hazzard. The Dukes then make Boss pay them the $25,000 reward, which they use to buy back the farm.Fed up with Hogg, the citizens demand he reverse his moonshine policy and free all the ridgerunners. However, just as it seems the 112-year-old candidate who always runs for county commissioner will finally win, he dies, leaving Boss as the only candidate, and he is re-elected anyway. Hogg summarily pardons himself for his misdeeds.

            1927 - On Blarney Island in Grass Lake, Illinois, Sammy loses the deed to the island in a poker game against a rival bar owner. Sammy shoots himself in the head afterward. While alone a short time later, an unseen presence attacks the bar owner.2014 - An unseen presence attacks a couple at the pier.Mike and his college friends Jerry and Lori arrive at the pier to begin work at the Blarney Island bar, now owned by Mike's cousin Ron. They meet coworker and local girl Ivy before being taken to the island in a boat skippered by Carl. Carl warns the group to avoid being on the island past midnight.During his work shift, Mike runs into Carl in a storeroom. Mike confesses that in addition to his bartending job, he is also investigating the island's supposed haunting by a spirit known as "The Caretaker" as part of a paranormal research project for school. Carl tries telling Mike that the island is not haunted.Mike inadvertently insults Ivy as the bartending crew hangs out after hours. The lights go out. An apparition stalks Lori. The group discovers that Andy, the bar's DJ, is on the island with them. Everyone realizes that the boat is no longer at the dock and they appear stranded. Lori sees a ghostly face reflected in the water. Other paranormal activity occurs.Andy dies while swimming for a boat drifting nearby. Ivy sees the ghost of her dead sister Janet, who warns that The Caretaker is coming. Something pulls Lori into the water and she drowns.Jerry, Mike, and Ivy hide back in the bar. When doors begin locking on their own, Ivy explains that Janet is trying to protect them from The Caretaker.Jerry swims to a boat and takes it back to shore. He convinces security guard Becker to return with him, but Becker handcuffs Jerry to the boat's railing because of Jerry's agitated state.Mike and Ivy break into The Caretaker's locked room. They also find a dead body.Becker and Jerry arrive at Blarney Island. The unseen presence attacks and kills Becker. Jerry unties the boat from the dock and pushes away from the pier.Mike and Ivy enter the water and find another dead body. Jerry picks them up in the boat. Carl arrives in another boat. The trio breaks Jerry's handcuffs and they all swim to Carl. Ivy is pulled underwater. Mike goes after her. After Ivy is rescued, ghosts of The Caretaker's victims appear in the water. As the group makes their escape, Carl says that the spirits saved Ivy.
