            Rohan is a kind, happy young man who has been blind since birth and works as a voice-over artist for a living. Through friends, he meets Supriya, a working woman who is also blind, but proudly independent. The two start liking each other and get married.One night, on their way back home after dining out, they are harassed by Amit Shellar, a local goon and younger brother of Madhavrao Shellar, a well-known politician. He and his friend Wasim, drunkenly misbehave with the couple, enraging Rohan, and they have a heated exchange.The next morning while Rohan is at work, Amit and Wasim sneak into the house and brutally rape Supriya. A horrified Rohan immediately calls the police; Officer Chaubey advises him to get his wife medically examined in 24 hours to prove the assault. While Rohan and Supriya are on their way to the clinic, they are kidnapped by Shellar's men and held captive for 36 hours. After being set free, Rohan and Supriya are chastised by police for the delay in getting Supriya clinically examined, and both are accused of being liars. Feeling dejected, betrayed by the police and helpless, they return home. Supriya valiantly tries to keep things normal for Rohan and her but much to her dismay, Rohan slips into silence. He blames himself and his disability for the injustice that Supriya is being subjected to. Supriya tries to talk him out of his self loathe but he remains silent.The next day, Rohan returns early from work to apologise to Supriya for not being as supportive as he should have, only to find her corpse, hanging from the ceiling fan. Post her cremation, Madhavrao visits Rohan and reveals that his brother Amit raped Supriya not once but twice. Rohan finds Supriya's braille note, which ascertains that Amit had raped her a second time; this second assault led her to commit suicide. Shattered by this new information, Rohan vows to seek injustice for Supriya. He implies to Officer Chaubey that he will avenge his wife's death, challenging that Chaubey will know who did it but will not be able to do anything about it, just like he did nothing about Supriya's rape.Rohan uses his voice modulating skills to lure the culprits to places that Rohan knows well. First, he tricks Wasim and hangs him, leaving Amit's handkerchief behind to frame Amit. He then lures Amit to the warehouse where he and Supriya were held captive for 36 hours. He finds Amit by his bad body odour, tying him down to be burned alive in an explosion.Officer Chaubey suspects Rohan for Amit and Wasim's murders after remembering his challenge, and puts him under house arrest. It is revealed that Chaubey knew Amit raped Supriya but did nothing after Madhavrao bribed him. Rohan gets past police with the help of his friend, and calls Madhavrao to a building under construction that was to be Rohan and Supriya's new home. There, Rohan kills him and makes it look like a suicide. Rohan later relates the story to Chaubey: he made it look like Amit killed Wasim, then Madhavrao committed suicide due to the pain of Amit's death. With no evidence against Rohan, a blind man, Chaubey stands helpless. Rohan, his revenge complete, scatters Supriya's ashes at sea.

            Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) and his younger brother Amit are orphans living with an elderly couple, Lily and Anthony. Rohit is an aspiring singer who works as a salesman in a car showroom, run by Malik. One day he meets Sonia Saxena (Ameesha Patel), daughter of Mr. Saxena at a traffic signal and has a brief interaction. On the occasion of her birthday, her father gifts her a car brought from the showroom where Rohit works. When Rohit he goes to deliver a car to her home, they meet again. Unknown to everybody, Saxena and Malik are running a drug cartel with help of two corrupt police officers.Another chance meeting leads Rohit and Sonia to meet again at her birthday party. After Rohit sings for her, Atul, Malik's son and Sonia's friend, invites him on a cruise to perform. The happy group board the cruise ship and have a wonderful time until the girls try to flirt with the Rohit who is immensely good looking. This makes Sonia jealous and in a fit of rage, she gets drunk on and sulks on a lifeboat. Rohit tries to coax her but they have a row and he too gets drunk. Both of them pass out and the lifeboat gets separated from the ship and floats to an island. During their time in the island, they fall in love. They are eventually rescued by Saxena, who realizes their love for each other and does not approve. He demands that Malik immediately fire Rohit. Sonia tries and fails to make her father see what a good man Rohit is, but this does not stop her from still loving Rohit and seeing him. Saxena tells Rohit that he needs to become successful before he can marry Sonia, since she is from a rich, upper class family. Determined to prove himself, Rohit and his friends attempt to procure a record deal for him. Rohit eventually becomes a well known artist and prepares to put on a concert.On the day of the show Rohit goes to pick up Amit from school. Rohit witnesses the corrupt policemen and Malik shooting down the Police Commissioner who has found out about their drug dealings. They discover Rohit's presence and shoot at him, wounding him. Although Rohit gets away, they pursue him over a bridge on the highway and knock his bike off track from the bridge causing him to fall into the river below. Rohit, who doesn't know how to swim, drowns. He is presumed dead. Amit is traumatised by the incident.Sonia goes into depression due to Rohit's death. After some time, her father sends her to New Zealand to live with his brother. Her cousin Neeta tries to help Sonia break out of her depression by taking her out to explore the New Zealand night life. There she meets Neeta's friend Raj Chopra (also Hrithik Roshan). He strikingly resembles Rohit. Raj is attracted to Sonia, but she keeps running away from him. She claims that he reminds her of Rohit more.On learning her story, Raj decides to try one more time and follows her to India. On the flight, both have a small fight and Raj decides to leave Sonia alone. After landing, he tells Sonia that he will not harass her any further and will go back to New Zealand. But soon, one of the corrupt officers spots them and opens fire on Raj, injuring his arm. After Raj and Sonia escape the shooting, Raj realizes that somebody is mistaking him for Rohit. With this incident Raj and Sonia realize that Rohit was murdered.Raj is welcomed by Rohit's landlords, friends and well wishers. His presence brings Amit out of his shell and they learn from Amit that he witnessed Rohit's murder. Raj decides to set the trap to expose the killers, posing as Rohit. Only Sonia and Rohit's acquaintances know the truth. Sonia tries to stop the concert, since it might put Raj in danger. But Raj tells her that he must do this since he loves Sonia a lot. Even though Sonia likes Raj, she is still heartbroken about Rohit's death. The police officers along with Saxena and Malik panic on learning that "Rohit" is alive. Raj performs a concert as Rohit, and Malik and the corrupt officers arrive there undercover. Saxena learns the truth from Sonia and he tries to warn Malik. After the concert, Raj reveals unknown details of the shooting that he learned from Amit. Due to these details, Malik assumes that Raj really is Rohit, and that Saxena is playing a double game. Before Raj can reveal the names of the people who killed Rohit, he is shot at again by one of the corrupt officers but is saved due to wearing a protective bullet-proof jacket.In order to catch Raj (who they believe may be Rohit), the corrupt officers kidnap Sonia. Raj succeeds in killing them as well as their henchmen and rescues Sonia. Malik soon arrives on the scene, revealing his motive for mercilessly pursuing Sonia and Raj. Just as Malik is about to reveal the truth about his connection to Saxena, he is shot by Saxena himself, who feigns anger at his daughter's kidnapping. Amit arrives and immediately recognizes Malik as the man who killed Rohit. He tells Raj that on the day of the shooting, Malik was talking to someone named 'Sir ji' over the phone. Raj finds Sir ji's number in Malik's cell phone and makes a call. When Saxena's phone rings, Raj understands everything. On being confronted, Saxena confesses everything in front of Sonia and Raj before being arrested.Sonia and Raj return to New Zealand, taking Amit with them. They get engaged with the blessings of their family and friends.

            Shankar (Shahrukh Khan) is a handsome mute man, raised by the powerful Raja (Amrish Puri), to whom he is completely loyal. However, Raja treats him like a slave. He is also tormented and unnecessarily beaten by Raja's younger brother Brijwa, a sadistic and violent psychopath. The elderly Raja is a ruthless and cruel man with a large appetite for young women who kills anyone who dares to defy him, however lately he has proven to be unable to perform in the bedroom and continues to fall asleep as he is bored of his beautiful secretary Bindiya, who lusts after Shankar. His doctor suggests a younger woman, who may be able to satisfy him.One day Raja sees Gauri (Madhuri Dixit), a happy young innocent village girl, and begins to dream about her and wishes to marry her, however, despite her greedy aunt and uncle wanting her to marry Raja, Gauri wants to see a picture of her future husband first.Aware that Gauri would instantly reject the elderly Raja, he sends her a photo of Shankar. Gauri instantly falls in love with him and the wedding proceeds. However, before the ceremony is completed, she discovers that it's not Shankar whom she is marrying and faints; Raja orders the priest to continue with the ceremony, even though the marriage would be invalid while Gauri is unconscious.When Gauri regains consciousness, she discovers Raja trying to "consummate" with her and learns they're married, which shocks her. She refuses to submit herself to him by attempting suicide, so he imprisons and tortures her. One night Gauri tries to commit suicide, however Shankar and his friend save her and she finally meets Shankar. She slaps and accuses him of ruining her life. however. Shankar's friend reveals that Shankar was innocent in this whole affair, a shocked Gauri tries to apologize, but Shankar leaves before she can.One night, Bindya (Deepshika) is frustrated by Raja's inability to perform and goes to Shankar, but instead finds Raja's brother Brijwa waiting for her. He attempts to rape her, but Shankar stops him. Not being able to proceed thrashing his master's brother, he takes a beating and gets framed for attempting to rape Bindya by Brijwa and is badly beaten by Raja. Bindya confesses that she went to Shankar and is then sent to a brothel controlled by Chandi Bai (Himani Shivpuri) as punishment by Raja.When Gauri's brother Ashok (Mohnish Behl) comes to see her, Raja forces her to lie to him which she does and says that she is happy as Raja threatens to kill him if she refuses, however Shankar reveals the truth to him and Raja kills him when he comes to rescue her. Moments before he dies, Ashok makes Shankar promise him to save his sister; Shankar and Gauri flee Raja's mansion.An enraged Raja begins a murderous search to find Gauri and Shankar, however, after a long chase through the mountains and jungle, Shankar uses the survival skills he learned as Raja's servant to kill Raja's men, Raja and his men leave due to being disadvantaged.During that time, Gauri and Shankar begin to fall in love. But unexpectedly, Raja, who has returned with reinforcements, sees Shankar and Gauri near a waterfall and manage to capture them by shooting Gauri in the arm.Shankar is brutally beaten by Brijwa and the corrupt DIG (Pradeep Rawat) and Raja slit his throat, then leave him to die in the mountains; Gauri is sold to a brothel. There, Bindya saves Gauri from what had been done to her, and in the process she eventually gets killed by Brijwa. Shankar is found and saved by a healer, who operates on his throat while he is still unconscious. The healer, who discovers that Shankar is not mute by birth, is able to repair some of the damaged nerves in Shankar's throat, enabling him to speak.Shankar recalls that when he was a boy, his father discovered diamonds in the coal mine, however he and his wife were murdered in front of Shankar by two mysterious men; when young Shankar threatened to tell everyone what they did, someone came up from behind him and shoved hot coals into his throat, rendering him mute. Shankar recovers and returns, first he kills Brijwa and is reunited with Gauri after rescuing her from the same men that killed his parents, and bought Gauri. Shankar, in the process, discovers that Raja was the person who made him mute and who ordered his parents to be killed so he could steal their wealth.He kills Raja's two henchmen and the DIG, then finally manages to corner Raja, who finally apologizes to Shankar for his wrongdoings to him, but Shankar disregards this and kills him by setting him on fire. At last, Shankar and Gauri embrace each other, finally at peace.

He works a variety of jobs and cons, including a scam in which he marries illegal immigrants. [Back in his apartment, Jay is startled to find one of his dance students: Gina (Kangana Ranaut). "Happy Valentines," she says before revealing she had a copy of his keys made for herself. Jay accuses her of being crazy and throws her out. Outside, Jay tries to apologize for any misunderstanding and Gina says she won't bother him again. As a limo pulls up, Jay realizes he has missed a big opportunity. To reignite the flame, Jay invites Gina to be his partner in a dance competition. They win the contest, set to the song "Fire." ] After winning the dance competition, Jay meets his girlfriend Gina's (Ranaut) parents. Her father, Bob Grover (Kabir Bedi), owns a casino. At the Grover's home, he sees the same woman again. He is captivated. The mystery woman is Natasha (Bárbara Mori), the fiancee of Gina's brother Tony (Nicholas Brown). In a restaurant, Tony shares the story of how he met Natasha. The first thing he saw was her "hot sexy legs." Natasha is clearly uncomfortable.  [But despite her limited English, she seems to share a private joke with Jay, while Tony pays the bill.] Jay remembers the real first time he met Natasha. Her true name was Linda and she was the last of his eleven fake marriages. And the only one that left an impression. [Montage set to "Dil Kyun Yeh Mera" of Tony and Natasha's engagement party and the two couples laughing and smiling aboard a yacht. Jay appears more interested in Natasha than Gina.] Tony and Natasha are engaged. Later, Jay witnesses Tony shouting at Natasha, and pushing her around. Jay comforts Natasha by showing her how to make shadow puppets....Flash-forward again to the full-bearded Jay stumbling outside a train station. He searches the ground and finds a cell phone. He asks the station master to help him recharge the phone, before collapsing. The station master finds Jay's wallet; inside: a picture of Natasha and business card for the Plaza....Flash-back. Tony and Jay arrive at the Plaza casino.  [Bob greets them. He has blood on his hands. Inside, two men are being tortured for cheating. One is a man called David, and Jay spares his life.]  Bob shows Jay around his casino and gives him two gifts: a gun and a new car.The night before the wedding, Jay asks Natasha to meet him and "finalize their divorce." Jamaal (Yuri Suri) the Grover's watchful chauffeur cautions Jay not to mess with the family.Natasha meets with Jay for a night of celebration. He asks her if she really loves Tony. She is silent for a moment. [She admits, "I love Tony's money."]  Jay confirms that he has a similar lack of feeling towards Gina.  [They compare all the expensive gifts they have received, but underneath their shared love of money is a shared sadness and longing.]  Natasha says that she wishes their marriage was a real one. "Me too," Jay says.  [Montage set to "Kites in the Sky" They drink champagne and see the sights of Vegas.]  The rain makes Jay sad, but Natasha encourages him to play.Jay returns Natasha to her apartment. They kiss. Tony bursts into the apartment. He is drunk and doesn't catch Jay. Tony begins to abuse Natasha, questioning where she has been all night. Jay puts his gun to Tony's head and holds out his other hand to Natasha. While she hesitates, Tony knocks the gun from Jay's hand and pulls out his own gun. He aims it at Jay...Flash-forward again to the train station. Jay awakes as the station master informs him that his phone is charged and that he called his "friends" for him. Tony and a group of men pull up in vehicles. Jay escapes on a passing freight. He finds a text from Natasha: "I'm going... sorry. Forget me." ["Intermission"] Having escaped on the train, Jay returns to the Vegas strip.  [David supplies him with a gun and Jamaal's phone number.]  On the phone, Jamaal confirms that he knows Natasha's whereabouts and makes plans to meet Jay later that night. Jay breaks into Natasha's abandoned apartment and holds a shattered frame with her photo...Flash-back to the earlier confrontation at the apartment. .... Tony points the gun at Jay. Natasha knocks Tony unconscious. Jay and Natasha flee in the convertible. Using the car's GPS, the police -followed closely by Tony- track the car. But it has been abandoned; the pair has traded watches and jewelry for a different ride. High-speed car chase ensues, but the couple makes a surprising escape. On the news, Bob falsely reports that Jay has stolen 2 million from his casino.Natasha blames their desperate situation on Jay "seducing" her, but she remembers she has a $200 bank account under her "Mrs. Linda Rai" alias. However, the police are one step ahead of her. [A despondent, and possibly unhinged, Gina methodically taps a spoon against a glass, while her father talks to Tony on the phone. Tony wants Jay and Natasha killed.] At the bank, "Linda Rai" raises a red flag, and the pair pull guns on the tellers to get their $200. The pair hi-jack a car. They spend the night at a hotel. They share their dreams for a new life together.  [Jay delights Linda with a Charlie Chaplin impersonation.]  The police burst in and arrest them. Downstairs, others are waiting for the pair. They want the supposed millions that they are in possession of. In the ensuing gun battle between cops and bandits, Jay and Natasha once again escape while utilizing multiple modes of transportation. More high speed chases. They spend the night in the desert. [In the morning, Jay's friend and colleague in the marriage scams, Robin (Anand Tiwari), catches up with the pair. Jay wants Robin to take Natasha away, as it is too dangerous for them to be together. At first he convinces Natasha that they are only separating for an hour, but she soon catches his lie. She wants to spend whatever time they have left together. "Live together. Die together."] Tony receives an anonymous phone call about Jay and Natasha's whereabouts.  [He argues about the price.]  But it's a trap. He is met by Jay and his friend, Robin (Tiwari). Jay says he's sorry for hurting the Grover family, but he takes Tony's 2 million --the amount he was already accused of stealing. Tony predicts that soon Natasha will leave Jay and return to him. ["Zindagi Do Pal Ki" plays over the following (mostly same in both versions) scenes]  Jay, Natasha, and Robin take the money and happily drive away. Robin helps smuggle the pair into Mexico. They make arrangements for fake passports. They meet Linda's family, and bring them gifts. They buy a house of their own. (In a remix-only scene:  Natasha tells Jay a story about her family.) [A different version of a kissing scene is used in the original cut.]  The couple is wed in a Spanish ceremony.Returning to their house, they meet Robin who has their new passports. Robin is gunned down, as Tony and his men arrive. A silent Jamaal lets the couple pass by him. While getting in their truck, Jay is shot in the back. Natasha drives. Jay passes in and out of consciousness; Natasha is panicking. She pulls into the train station. Jay looses his phone, as Natasha dumps him in a freight car. He calls out to her, but she drives away in the truck....Flash forward again. Jamaal pulls up in a car. But before he and Jay can speak, Tony and his men arrive.  [David had betrayed him.]  Jay begs Tony to let him see Natasha one last time, so he can know why she left him. Jamaal hits Tony with the car. Under bullet fire, he and Jay escape for a few minutes. In a no-audio scene, Jamaal tells Jay where Natasha is, before succumbing to a bullet wound. Jay steps out of the car, and opens fire on Tony's men. He then proceeds to beat Tony senseless until a shot rings out. Jay is hit and a shaking and crying Gina holds the smoking gun. Jay gives up and walks away.He drives through the night, while thinking about what Jamaal told him. Flash-back to Natasha's story. Pursued by Tony and his men, she hides Jay in the freight car and then acts as a decoy. She leads Tony away and watches the train pull out, hopefully bringing her love to safety. Tony chases her to a cliff's edge. Not wanting to return with her sadistic pursuer, Natasha sends her last text to Jay, "I'm going... sorry. Forget me," and drives over the cliff.Now standing on the same cliff, a heartbroken, wounded, and exhausted Jay steps over the edge and into the sea. Underwater, the spirits of Jay and Natasha meet --finally together again in the afterlife.

            Scientist Rohit Mehra lives with his son Krishna "Krrish" Mehra (both played by Hrithik Roshan) in Mumbai. Krishna is married to Priya (Priyanka Chopra) who works as a journalist for Aaj Tak. Rohit works in a research institute for the Indian government and Krishna, while moonlighting as the superhero Krrish, is regularly fired from various day jobs due to lack of attendance. Rohit is researching on a device that will bring life to dead tissues by the use of solar energy. Despite several attempts, he fails to complete the experiment due to the high intensity of sun rays. On a usual day, Krishna loses his job from the security wing of a company when he hears news about an airplane whose front tyres are stuck due to some malfunctioning which creates high risk, even if landed, it may explode and so will the passengers inside. Krishna immediately changes himself to Krrish and saves the plane from accident by holding the component to make tyres free to roam.
A few days later, Rohit hears about a deadly disease spreading in the African country of Namibia due to a virus whose antidote has not yet been discovered. He consults his friend Dr. Varun Shetty (Arif Zakaria) about the situation. Meanwhile, Shetty receives a phone call from Dr. Alok Sen (Asif Basra), a scientist working for Kaal Laboratories who insists on meeting him in order to reveal information about an antidote to the virus. Both Sen and Shetty are, however, murdered by Kaya (Kangna Ranaut), a form-changing female mutant. She is the henchwoman of Kaal (Vivek Oberoi), a handicapped evil genius who possess telekinetic powers. Kaal creates a team of "maanvars" (an hybrid of humans and animals) with distinct physical powers in order to cure himself but fails. Later it is revealed the virus in Africa was spread by Kaal himself to incur huge profits by selling its antidote, the singular source of which is his blood.
Rohit discovers that the virus, which is fast spreading through Mumbai, has no effect on Krishna, the pregnant Priya or himself. He, thus, makes an antidote by using the blood from Krishna's bloodstream which he spreads with the help of explosions. An enraged Kaal sends his mutants to attack Rohit and find out how an antidote was developed without using his own blood. Krrish manages to save Rohit, but Priya is injured and hospitalised. Krrish, however, manages to defeat the mutant Striker (Gowhar Khan). Kaya, carrying out Kaal's instructions, takes Priya's form while Priya is kidnapped by Kaal. In the form of Priya, Kaya lets Krishna belief that Priya has lost her child, and continues to live with the Mehras. While finding the truth behind the antidote's formula she develops an attraction towards Krishna. Failing to get answers about Frog Man's involvement with the virus attack, Rohit travels to Singapore to seek answers from Dr. Siddhant Arya's (Naseeruddin Shah) partner, where he is kidnapped by Kaal's men. Meanwhile, Krishna discovers the true identity of Priya; furious, he reveals himself as Krrish to Kaya and orders her to take him to Kaal's laboratory. Having fallen in love with Krishna, Kaya decides to help rescue his wife.
At Kaal's laboratory, it is revealed that Kaal is Rohit's son, who was created by an experiment conducted by Dr. Arya while Rohit was held hostage by him. The child was born handicapped, and was thus given away to an orphanage from where he was adopted by a wealthy man (Mohnish Behl). Kaal uses Rohit's bone marrow to successfully cure his handicap. Meanwhile, Kaya saves Priya and unites her with Krrish; she is, however, murdered by Kaal for her disloyalty. Kaal subsequently murders Krrish, and dons a metal suit. Deeply disturbed by his son's death, Rohit decides to re-use his failed experiment to bring dead tissues to life in order to save Krishna. This time, however, he absorbs the excess energy himself. Though the process kills Rohit, it transfers his powers to a revived Krishna. Meanwhile, Kaal threatens to destroy the city of Mumbai if Priya does not surrender to him. Krrish re-emerges and, after several unsuccessful attempts, manages to kill him using Rohit's solar experiment. The film ends six months later with Priya naming their new-born son Rohit, who also exhibits superpowers.

            The angry Raja (Arshad Warsi), schizophrenic Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav), Dr. Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan) and the cute Dabboo (Suresh Menon) are all unique in their mental imbalance. Dr. Sonali (Juhi Chawla) is treating all four of them.While Raja is diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder, due to his sudden anger at the slightest provocation, Gangadhar is living in the past where he shares friendship with Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Lokamanya Tilak and Sardar Vallabhai Patel. He seems busy in fighting for the country's freedom, which was achieved long back. Dr. Mukherjee, who is a perfect doctor and is one keeps himself tidy and prim, is diagnosed with obsessive compulsive personality disorder. Dabboo, who has not spoken for years and appears frightened all the time, appears autistic and is loved by one and all.Shikha (Dia Mirza), a television reporter and who loves Raja, cannot seem to help bring sanity in him. R K Sanyal (Rajat Kapoor), who is an industrialist and the husband of Dr. Sonali, gets vexed up with the four patients and attempts to get rid of them.How this story unfolds forms the climax of the story.
