Norwegian actor and singer. Had his debut in 1978 in Bergen's Grieg Hall, playing Jesus in the musical "Godspell". He was an employee of Den Nationale Scene (theatre) in Bergen 1978-79, Oslo Nye Teater 1979-80, and then Det Norske Teatret where he made a mark for himself as a leading musical-artist, playing Tony in "West Side Story", Theo in "Piaf", Rom Tom Topper in "Cats", the tailor in "Fiddler on the Roof" and Jean Valjean in "Les Misérables", the latter he replayed with great success in Wien, Austria. Wiik has often starred in television specials in his native Norway, as well as starred in several shows in Germany. In 2000 he starred in the grand musical "Sophie's World", based on Jostein Gaarder's international bestseller, a role he reprised in Germany.
