A classically trained actress, writer and filmmaker with roots in theater and improv comedy, she brings a certain kind of spontaneity to her work. A versatile artist in both comedy and drama, she's worked with some of the greats- Christopher Walken, Kevin Bacon, Clark Johnson- throughout her career in film, television and voiceover. And it's her beginnings in improv, her time at the Upright Citizens Brigade and iOWest, and television writing studies at The Second City that steered her toward 'comedy with heart'. Monique strives to tell unique stories that give voice to underrepresented people and communities, but that speak to our universal shared experience.
