Michelle was born in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset and attended local schools, where she first became interested in acting, joining amateur drama groups and taking LAMDA exams before, at age fourteen, joining the National Youth Theatre. After graduating with a degree in English at Cardiff University she enrolled at RADA, graduating in 2004 and a year later made her West End debut in a small role in the revival of 'Blithe Spirit'. Consequently she has distinguished herself in a variety of classical roles - 'London Assurance', 'England People Very Nice' and 'All's Well That Ends Well' for the National Theatre, 'Love's Labours lost', Much Ado About Nothing for the RSC and Titania in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the Globe. In 2011 she won the Olivier award for best supporting actress in 'Tribes' and in 2016 played the title role in the all-female 'Henry V' at the Regent Park Open Air Theatre. Also a writer she co-scripted 'Sudden Loss of Dignity' for the Bush Theatre, London and in 2011 collaborated with Ralf Little on the television sitcom 'The Cafe', set in her native Weston-Super-Mare. - IMDb Mini Biography By: don @ minifie-1
