Lisa Roumain was born in Puerto Rico with Italian, Haitian and Scottish roots. Her father is a Civil Engineer, her Mother a Teacher, and she is the eldest of 3. She grew up in Parkland, FL and fell in love with dancing, painting, writing, & drawing, and studied Interior Architecture, receiving a Bachelor's of Design from the University of Florida. But after a few years of working as a Designer, she decided to pursue her dream of being an Actress and began modeling and studying acting in Miami. With much gratitude, Lisa has done steady work in commercials, print and film. She landed her first role on "Jersey Girl," and went on to appear in independent films like "Go For It!" and in 2007, she began an incredible 2 year journey on a top secret, unnamed film project which became the experience of a lifetime; James Cameron's "Avatar." Lisa was part of the exclusive, Performance Capture Troupe, using her versatility to play multiple characters daily and becoming a part of movie making history on this ground-breaking film. Lisa is passionate about healthy cooking, home renovation, her Architect/Tri-Athlete husband Greg, & two hilarious young daughters. One is a Singer/actress, and the youngest aspires to be a Doctor/ballerina.
