Laur Allen is an LA native who made her network TV debut as the recurring character "Juliet Helton" on CBS's The Young and the Restless. She is of Chinese, British, and Hungarian-Jewish heritage. Growing up, Laur was a competitive figure skater, a basketball player, an archer, and a classical pianist. She also has tactical handgun training and attended sniper school in Arizona, where she was trained by former marines in sniping and counter-sniping. She was the first mixed-ethnicity Miss Los Angeles Chinatown Queen in the pageant's history, serving as the ambassador for the Southern California Chinese community. Following her term as Miss Chinatown, Laur competed in Miss Chinese International, hosted by TVB in Hong Kong, where she made Top 7 and won Miss Friendship. Prior to acting, Laur worked first on a VH1 series as a production assistant, then in production and development at a Burbank-based company, and then in television marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
