She began her modeling and acting career as a teenager getting signed at a young age by a major commercial agency and appearing in various print ads, commercials, and music videos.Kitiya went on to graduate university in Toronto with a double major honors degree in Communication Studies and English with a focus on Film and Television. Shortly after graduating, she accepted a job in New York City with a premier, global advertising agency where she helped create national television campaigns for large scale brands.
