Growing up, sports and the arts was Keon's world, but early on he knew he had a passion for the arts from Piano, Arts and crafts and acting . By the age of 16, Taylor was writing songs on a regular basis, a passion he would carry with him into adulthood. In high school, he excelled at basketball, track , and acting , and went on to showcase his talents at Appalachian State University . Although a star in the class room and court, Taylor never gave up his passion for acting, and minored in theatre in college.
