London-born Jazzy De Lisser graduated from school in 2009 and wasted no time moving to NYC to enroll in a filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy. Upon successful completion, Jazzy spent two weeks in South Africa directing a short documentary on the Aids and HIV epidemic to raise awareness for A.S.A.P. children.In 2011, Jazzy was cast as lead role in independent film _To Get Her (2011)_. It went on to win the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and the River Run International Film Festival Audience Choice Award.
