Ian Dickinson lives in the UK and Berlin, Germany. He was born (1963) in Plymouth, England, and grew up in St. Germans, a small village in South East Cornwall. He moved to London in 1983 where, together with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, he co-founded and managed the music publishing company 'Anxious Music' and the independent record label 'Anxious Records'. After resigning from the Anxious companies Ian studied drama and English literature at 'The Working Men's College' in London. He left the UK for Berlin in 1995. He has appeared on various stages in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich, playing both in German and English. Ian was a guest actor at both the 'Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin' from 1998 To 1999 and at the 'Deutsches Theater Berlin' from 2003 until 2008.
