Emmett Skilton is a New Zealand-born actor, director and screen-writer who has worked in over 40 productions in film, television and theatre.A passionate improviser, Emmett's professional acting career began during his high-school years with a role on New Zealand comedy series Seven Periods with Mr Gormsby (2005), after the director scouted him during an improvisation performance in Wellington, New Zealand. He has since trained at leading New Zealand acting school, Toi Whakaari and acted extensively nationally and internationally - most recently in Chinese feature film Into The Rainbow (2017), AMC's The Making Of The Mob: Chicago (2016) and, his most known role to date, as the lead character for 3 seasons of The Almighty Johnson's (2013).In recent years, Emmett has gained a passion for writing and directing. With his company, We Three Productions, he has co-created the award-winning comedy web-series, Auckward Love, which boasts honest comedic content by women, for women.Emmett is based between Los Angeles, California and Auckland, New Zealand.
