Don Michael Paul attended California State University, Fullerton where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in theatre arts. He juggled his time acting on stage while working in film and television.Don's work has taken him around the world from Berlin to Budapest, from Bulgaria to South Africa, from Vancouver and beyond. He cut his teeth in the world of action l, when he scribbled his freshman script, "Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man," on a legal pad. It sold. Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson were cast, and then it got filmed. The die was set. Don left his legal pad behind and learned to type when Alan Ladd, Jr. contracted him to a 4-picture deal with MGM. The deal yielded more rough-and-tumble fare, including "Public Enemies" and the adaptation of the award-winning depression era novel by Davis Grubb, "Night Of The Hunter." After his tenure at MGM, Don went on to adapt bestselling author John Gilstrap's "Nathan's Run" at Warner Bros. for Joel Silver. He's since written for Barry Josephson, Jordan Kerner, Stephen J. Cannell, Aaron Spelling, and many more. On the small screen, Don has penned TV pilots for ABC, CBS, FOX and UPN.
