Elected to BAFTA (British Academy of Film & Television Arts) in 2002, he is known for his work on Robin Hood - König der Diebe (1991) with Kevin Costner & Morgan Freeman; with Oliver Reed on the classic Orpheus & Eurydice (2000); and on Olympiad 448 BC: Olympiad of Ancient Hellas (2004) with Roy Dotrice and Brian Blessed.
