Dave was born in Hollywood but waited 50 years to start his acting career. He was in the U.S.Navy Submarine Service in the late 60 s and ran a successful power equipment sales and repair business for 33 years along with a Uhaul truck business for 16 years .the whole time being told by friends and family he should be in show biz. In 1996 he took a philosophy course called the Landmark Forum and joined a local community Theatre group he had heard of all his life The Kentwood Players at the Westchester Playhouse.
