She has worked in sports as a sideline reporter, a domestic studio anchor, and as an American anchor for international networks overseas. Dara has worked as a celebrity correspondent covering movie premieres and red carpet events. She has hosted a radio pilot for the NYC affiliate of NPR called The Express. She began her on-camera career as a teenager when she won an open competition to host a youth talk show. She followed that path in college working for TV networks during summer breaks. Her first venture into acting came when she was chosen for a music video in Atlanta while working her network internship.
