            Jagdish, an army officer, comes home on vacation. His parents want him to get married and have made a choice about the girl, who is Nisha. Initially, Jagdish, thinking that Kajal is too homely decides she is not the apt choice for him. But later, when he sees that Nisha is a boxer, he finds that she is actually a girl with modern outlook and falls for her. One day, while going in a local bus with his friend Balaji, a police officer, a pick-pocketing incident occurs, and the two decide to find out the pick-pocket by checking everyone in the bus. So the bus stops and everyone is made to get down and is checked. A guy, with tensed looks puts something down in the bus, and runs away from the back door of the bus. Jagdish starts to chase him, but later finds the actual pick-pocket is caught at the front door. Thinking that the guy is up to something, he continues chasing him, and when he questions on why he ran away, the bus explodes. Police arrest the guy, who is a sleeper cell and is treated in hospital for his injuires.He escapes from the hospital after killing the doctor, and Balaji, warns Jagdish, to be safe and leave the city the next day, as the escaped sleeper cell might target him. But soon, it is revealed that, Jagdish actually chased him down, once he escaped the hospital and taken him a captive. Jagdish, cuts the guy's finger, and then questions on who was the police officer, who helped in his escape. He then, goes to the police officer's home, and makes him shoot himself. He then finds a sheet of paper with a 12 red-marked dots in the terrorist's bag. He then deduces that those represent various locations in Mumbai city Map. Deducing that the terrorists have planned for a bomb-attack in those locations, he comes to know that the plan is to attack those places at the same time on 12th of that month. On the same day, after attending a marriage of his army friend in a church, Jagdish seeks the help of his army team members. Jagdish, intentionally makes the captured sleeper cell to escape, and Jagdish & team, follow that guy, who meets on the way 11 other sleeper cells. Jagdish & his 11 men team, split and follow each of those 12 sleeper cells, and then shoot all the 12 sleeper cells at the same time.This stirs the anger of the terrorist leader (Vidyut Jamal), who calls the mobile of the captured sleeper cell that was missing from the spot of attack, thinking it must have been taken by the men who were responsible for this. The phone is answered by Jagdish and the terrorist leader warns him that he will track him down and kill him. He deduces that, each of those 12 men who killed the sleeper cells, must be trained physically and also must be good shooters, as all were head-shots. Knowing that everyone was wearing a suit during the assault, he decides that, those guys must have returned from a marriage. With the help of a local corrupt politician, he finds the marriage of an army officer took place on the same date, narrowing down his target to the people who attended that marriage. Jagdish meanwhile, starts thinking on the thread the terrorist leader might follow to track him down, and finalises that he and his men wearing suit during the assault, should be the loop-hole. The terrorist leader, kills the family of the bride, finds from the marriage album that, there were 5 groups of 12 men; he circles out one person in each group photo and decides to kidnap each guy's sister to know which of the groups was responsible. Jagdish reaches the bride's home only to find everyone is dead and sees the album and thinks the terrorist leader might try to target each of the 5 circled guys.But later, when sisters of 3 of those guys are kidnapped, Jagdish finds out the plan and asks his sister to use the scooter of the girl who is about to be kidnapped next. The terrorists thus wrongly kidnap Jagdish's sister. Jagdish then, using his K-9 dog, tracks down the place where his sister is kidnapped and in a subsequent shootout, Jagdish kills all of the terrorists.The terrorist leader in retaliation blasts a shopping complex killing Jagdish's army friend and his family and then blackmails Jagidish that if he does not show up in the place he says, he would kill all other men too. Jagdish, then agrees to him. But he plans to detonate the place where he will meet the terrorist leader, thereby killing the terrorist gang. He asks his friend to follow him using the tracking chip, he inserts in his arm and then plant the bomb in the place where he will meet the leader.The terrorist leader, asks Jagdish to switch between various cars on the way and finally makes him get into a ship. He then reveals, that he has planted bombs in all the cars Jagdish has used in the way and that once the police finds from the surveillance cameras that he is the one who has driven the car to the place, they will brand him a double-agent. When the leader asks Jagdish his last wish, Jagdish wishes to get beaten to death. And after getting beaten very hard, Jagdish challenges him, to uncuff him and then fight him.The leader accepts the challenge and subsequently Jagdish defeats him and escapes with him in a boat, where the both watch the ship getting blasted. Jagdish then shoots the leader saying "Die with the feeling of suspense(of how the ship blasted!)".The film then ends with Jagdish and other army officers boarding a train for the next mission.

            Thamizh (Dinesh), a visually impaired person, manages to feed his stomach by selling torches in the trains along with his clan. He meets Sudhanthira kodi (Malavika Nair), Sangeetha's friend, visually challenged girl, in a marriage function where they, unfortunately, squabble with each other. When he meets her next time in the train, he ask his friend to tell her the wrong station where she has to get down. Sudhanthira kodi misses her first class in teacher training. The next day she beats him with a stick, hurting his head. Thamizh, also called as Chinna Illayaraja, works as a part time singer in a troop. His boss tells him to seek revenge. When he meets her the next day, she apologizes to him ,and the rift fades and friendship blooms a bud. Later he finds that she reminds him of Rosy miss, his old teacher and falls in love with her.He decides yo give her a CD expressing his love. When he approaches her, he finds that she loves Vinodh, a guy who has apparently been helping her to manage with her studies. Vinodh invites him for his marriage. In the marriage Sangeetha (Kodi's friend) discloses that Kodi is not the bride. Eventually after a few days Kodi falls in love with Thamizh. They, later, narrate their love story to the writter of Vikadan, a tamil magazine. But Kodi's brother has other plans. He plans to marry Kodi to his friend, who helped his family by lending money. When the husband-to-be discovers her feelings for Thamizh he ask her to return the money which he had lent. Thamizh, after arraging the sum that he has to pay, goes to meet Kodi's brother and his friend. Meanwhile Kodi slips away from her house to meet Thamizh. On his way he meets with an accident and is admitted in a hospital. After a month or so, he recovers and finds that Kodi has left the city without informing anyone. The vikadan writter meets Thamizh in a railway station and he narrates the recent happenings to him. The writer publishes their story in his magazine. After some days he gets a call from a follower of his magazine who informs him that Kodi is in Mumbai.The writer tells the same to Thamizh. He instantly catches a train to Mumbai. He lands at Pune railway station where, after dodging a lot of obstucles, he meets Kodi. And they live happily thereafter. <3

            Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan) is a rich tycoon suffering from short term memory loss due to being hit by a metal pole when trying to intervene on his girlfriend's murder. Because of the severe injury on his head, his memory can only last for fifteen minutes and he doesn't remember events or incidents that have happened before in his life. He can now only live a comprehendible life by tattooing notes on himself and taking pictures of things with a Polaroid camera to remind himself of the incidents that have happened. His story in unraveled by a police officer (Riyaz Khan) who is hunting him due to several murders he has committed while trying to find his girlfriend's murderer through his diary. His story has also piqued the interest of a medical college student, Sunita (Jiah Khan) who is searching for a patient with an "interesting" record for her college project. Sunita comes to know about Sanjay's love with Kalpana (Asin Thottumkal) a model activist. When her activist work for children comes in the way of child racketeers, she is killed by Ghajini when she intervened with his plan of kidnapping 25 young girls to Goa. So, with the help of Sunita, Sanjay sets out on a revenge spree, searching for the murderer of the one love of his life...
    


            Virat Bakshi (Akshay Kumar), Captain in D.I.A., a secret wing of Indian Army, returns to his home in Mumbai on a holiday. On his arrival, his parents rush him to see Saiba Thapar (Sonakshi Sinha), who they wanted him to marry. But Virat rejects her with an excuse that she is old fashioned and not his type. On the contrary, Saiba is a professional boxer, and is completely modern in her outlook. Virat notices her in a boxing match and falls in love with her instantly.One day, while traveling in a bus with his friend sub-inspector Mukund "Makhiya" Deshmukh (Sumeet Raghavan), Virat, while chasing a man who he regards with suspicion when he tries to flee the scene of a check going on after a passenger reports his wallet as stolen, witnesses a bomb explosion killing innocent people. Virat manages to capture the man who planted the bomb but he escapes from the hospital with the help of a police officer. Virat kidnaps the terrorist again, tortures him to ascertain the name of the police officer and also forces corrupt police officer Ashok Gaikwad (Gireesh Sahedev) to commit suicide. He later discovers that a terrorist group has planned serial blasts in Mumbai to be executed in a couple of days with the help of 12 sleeper agents. Virat remembers that on the day when the bombs are going to be planted, there is a wedding where his team member Joel (Randheer Rai) is tying the knot and all his Army officer friends are going to assemble. Along with his fellow Army officers and Mukund, Virat manages to track these bombers and kills them before they could trigger the bombs.When the leader of these sleeper cells, Shadab Ali Farooqui (Freddy Daruwala) finds out about the team of officers involved in the failure of the terrorist attack, he goes to Joel's (Randheer Rai) house and kills his family and finds an album which has photos of team officers. He targets one officer's female relative from each team and kidnaps them. When Virat realizes the plan, he substitutes one of the girls to be kidnapped, with his younger sister Priti (Cherry Mardia). Using his pet dog Rocky and his sister's dupatta, he manages to reach the terrorist's hideout. He eliminates all the terrorists and rescues all the victims including his sister, who was about to be killed after Virat's bluff was exposed. Virat also captures Asif Ali (Dipendra Sharma), who was the leader of the group but later kills him on realizing that Asif is just the second-in-command of the sleeper cells.When this attack fails, Shadab decides to target Virat himself. He kills Kapil and his family, he being one of the army officers and forces Virat to surrender. Virat decides to sacrifice his life and plans a suicide attack by instructing Mukund and his fellow officers to follow him via a tracking chip inserted in his arm and plant a bomb at the terrorists' hideout. Virat then drives to a port in various cars, as instructed by Shadab and ends up on a ship full of terrorists. To his shock, Virat finds out that the cars he was asked to drive had bombs in them, which will frame him and his team as terrorists and also boost their plans to recruit sleeper cells in Indian Army with the help of Joint Defense Secretary of India - Mr. Alvin D'souza (Zakir Hussain), who is also a member of this terrorist group. Meanwhile, Joel (Randheer Rai) who was in touch with Mukund as instructed by Virat, plants a bomb at the base of the ship. Virat has a one-on-one fight with Shadab and escapes with him on a boat before the ship explodes, also later killing Shadab. The film ends with Virat forcing Alvin D'souza to commit suicide and later returning to guard the border along with his team.

            There's no one more dangerous than a common man on a death wish. This is one such story of a man remorselessly wronged by the establishment. One freak incident results in everything he held dear taken away from him. Predictably, the system doesn't seem to care - let alone resolve. That's when Ajay (Akshay Kumar) takes matters in his own hands. An underground vigilante army, a secret identity, an elaborate modus...all of these combined make a 'GABBAR'- a true hero, with dreadful villainous instincts.

            The film starts with the police arresting Aadhikesavan(Suresh Gopi)'s men suspecting them for burning an MLA's wine shop. The MLA sends a false evidence to the court against Aadhikesavan. But Aadhi sends Dheenadhayalan(Ajith Kumar) who is actually his adopted brother to attack the false evidence. Later some people complain to Aadhi that the MLA had removed the breakwire from a schoolvan due to rivalry between his school and their school leading to the death of many children. Aadhi asks Dheena and his henchmen to cut the hands of the MLA and his men especially the right hand and Dheena completes his task.
Meanwhile Dheena falls in love with a girl named Chitra(Laila) who initially mistakes him to be a bus conductor and later a vegetable seller. One day one of Dheena's henchmen ('Mahanathi' Shankar) spots Chitra and her cousin in the plaza and reports to Dheena. Dheena pretends to meet her by chance and pays their bill using the plaza manager's money. One day Chitra calls Dheena's home landline number posing as 'Pepsi' Uma and comes to know about Dheena's tricks. Meanwhile Dheena comes to know that someone (Shyam Ganesh) has teased his sister Shanthi and thrashes him. One day when Dheena meets Chitra they are ridiculed by a gang of rowdies but Dheena stays calm as he thinks that girls hate people who are violent. The next day he meets Chitra at the plaza and tells him he should have beaten the rowdies as she likes violence. As a coincidence the rowdies come and Dheena thrashes them and informs Chitra that he is a local goon. Later she comes to know that Dheena has love for her as she did. Meanwhile the same person who teased Shanthi gave a love letter to her and Dheena beats him up and comes to know that the persons sister was Chitra. Chitra tells him that they both love each other and Dheena agrees to help them. Shanthi accepts this to Dheena but afraid to tell to Aadhi. Finding the difficulty of the situation,Shanthi elopes with her lover and Aadhi's men chase them in which they get into an accident. In the hospital Shanthi tells Dheena to protect her lover's family from Aadhi. Dheena promises and she dies.
Aadhi,enraged by his sister's death asks Dheena to kill the family of the boy responsible for Shanthi's death.But Dheena refuses and tells that Shanthi was in love with that boy. But Aadhi could not believe this and misunderstands Dheena was refusing since he loved the boy's sister Chitra. Aadhi swears that he will kill Dheena also and declares he his not his brother anymore.
Dheena moves to Chitra's flat to protect her family but her brother does not believe him. Aadhi kills one of Chitra's brother's friend and lands in jail. Dheena stays in the room of two auto drivers(Balaji and Sriman) who believe in him. One time Aadhi sends his men to kill Chitra's family but Dheena stops them and in the process he gets badly wounded. Chitra's family starts believing Dheena and their love develops.
Later Aadhi gets released and orders his men to kill Dheena and Chitra's family. The MLA who was his enemy wants to kill Dheena but Aadhi asks him to stay away due to ego. The MLA creates confusion by sending half of his men in the outfit of auto drivers and remaining in outfit of Aadhi's men. Dheena finds this and goes to warn Aadhi but is unaware that one of the MLA's men had stabbed Chitra. Meanwhile Aadhi comes to know about Shanthi's love from her college friends. Aadhi and Dheena join forces and stop the confusion. Knowing that the MLA was responsible for this, Aadhi goes to kill him but Dheena stops him that if he kills him another person would avenge and this chain could continue and asks him to leave violence. The End is shown in the hospital where Chitra wakes to see Dheena and Aadhi. Aadhi finally declares Dheena to be his brother hereafter.

            The film depicts the fictional life of Bodhidharma (Suriya), a master of martial arts and medical remedies, who is depicted in the film as the son of a great Tamil king of the Pallava Dynasty. He is sent to China by his guru, who requests him to stop the spread of a pandemic disease existing there from spreading to India. Initially the people in China treated him as an inferior but later when he cures a little girl from the deadly disease and fights against some people who ill treated villagers there, the people of China began to respect and worship him. He begins to teach them how to cure many diseases, the skills of hypnotism and the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. However after several years, when he expresses his desire to return to India, the villagers plot to poison him and bury him near the temple, believing that their place would be disease free if he is buried there. Bodhidharma agrees to die and subsequently becomes a fundamental figure in Chinese history, affectionately being dubbed as "Damo".
The film switches to modern-day China, where Dong Lee (Johnny Tri Nguyen) is given the task of starting a government planned biological war against India, known as Operation Red. Dong Lee arrives in Chennai starts this operation by injecting a virus into a street dog. This disease was the one which occurred during the time of Bodhidharma in China. Meanwhile Subha Srinivasan (Shruti Haasan), a student of genetics researches that Bodhidharma can be brought back to life if his sample of DNA is matched with another sample of DNA which she finds in Aravind (Suriya) a descendant of Bodhidharma who is working as a circus artist nearby. Dong Lee finds out Subha's mission to revive Bodhidharma and plans to kill her first, so that the disease cannot be stopped.
Subha approaches Aravind to start the mission, but gets romantically involved in him and forgets her duty. One day, Aravind's family see Subha and clearly remember that she visited them a year before to find Aravind and know all about him for the Bodhidharma research. Saving herself, she lies by saying that she doesn't know them. Later that night, Aravind's uncle (Ilavarasu) explains all what happened one year before when they met Subha. Aravind goes and meets Subha, and is enraged upon realising the truth. However the next day, he reconciles with Subha and agrees to contribute to the research and hence save the country. The research begins of giving life to Bodhidharma and to end Operation Red. But Dong Lee, who is capable of doing anything, does all impossibly bad things, mastered in "Nokku Varmam" (hypnotism), a martial art which was actually taught to the Chinese by Bodhidharma.
Subha goes to her genetics department and announces that Operation Red can be stopped if they read and make use of the cures in a book written by Bodhidharma. However, the department laughs and refuses to believe her, claiming that an ancient book is of no use in modern times. Disappointed, Subha leaves. After some time, Subha and Aravind find out that Subha's professor from the genetics department is assisting Dong Lee in Operation Red. They sneak into the professor's apartment and learn about the operation, without his knowledge. The next day, the professor is caught red-handed by Aravind, Subha and her friends, but surrenders and explains that he received a huge sum of money from the China government if he carried out Operation Red. After the professor gives the gang more details about Operation Red and how to stop it, they leave. However, after a while, Dong Lee arrives and the professor once again teams up with him to save his own life.
Dong Lee causes numerous havoc in the city, which Subha, Aravind and their gang barely escape. They finally locate a research centre where they can activate Bodhidharma DNA in Aravind, and decide to hide there for a few days. They all deactivate their phones so that no-one can trace them. But Dong Lee somehow traces Subha and the gang with the help of two of Subha's outside friends. However, he kills both of them afterwards. Dong Lee then locates the place of the research centre. Subha and her friends in the research centre escape in a van, but Dong Lee chases them and the van collapses. An unconscious Aravind gets beaten badly by Dong Lee at first, but then manages to regain Bodhidharma skills somehow (in spite of the sun-rays hitting him on his face which was not supposed to happen and a day before he was estimated to regain his skills). Aravind wakes up with Bodhidharma's talent and in a final fight, defeats Dong Lee. Afterwards, Aravind and Subha manage to eradicate the virus spreading. The film ends with them giving a lecture via the media, about the need to remember important histories and to teach all practices in the name of science and not god.

            A young lady at MGBS is made to elope and about to be cheated by 2 youth. However, somehow many people indicate to the 2 young men that their plan is not secret anymore. So they flee, leaving the girl stranded, so she returns to her home. It is revealed that Shiva, an officer in the Intelligence Bureau, spies on people who need help. He develops a software to listen to the ones in need by tracking their phone calls and responding to any calls with words such as 'help'. One day, he listens to a lady Charlie (Shalini) talking about her carnal desire with her friend. He goes to meet her to find out whether there's anything fishy but he realizes there's no such thing. However, they later develop feelings for each other. Another day, he listens to a young girl asking her friend for help as she is lonely in her house. Shiva sends his friend, a police constable, Renuka to help the girl. But the next day he finds them both brutally murdered. To find out who killed them, he goes through all of the young girl's calls, chats, mails, etc. With help from another department that can provide any CCTV footage from all over the city, he finds that a guy followed her at a cafe. Shiva creates a fake viral video to track down the killer, as he now has image of the murderer's face. Shiva gets a call from an acquaintance of the murderer who watched the video, so Shiva follows up and learns the past about the killer, Bhairavudu (Sudalai). Bhairavudu is revealed to be a sadist who kills people and likes to watch the victims' family crying. Bhairavudu was born in the graveyard of a village and enjoyed watching people cry from when he was a kid. However, when no one in the village dies for a few weeks, Bhairavudu loses appetite and starts killing people. The villagers eventually find out that Bhairavudu is killing the people so they set the hut of Bhairavudu ablaze which kills his parents, but Bhairavudu is not inside so he runs away from the village to Hyderabad along with his little brother. It is then revealed when Shiva consults a professor that Bhairavudu has SPD (Sadistic Personality Disorder). Knowing the history, Shiva tracks down Bhairavudu and catches him in Wonderla, but he is revealed to be Bhairavudu's brother. Bhairavudu threatens all citizens of the city to set his brother free. Bhairavudu reveals on a TV channel that he killed several people already and they are buried in metro pillars of the city. He releases the list of people he killed too, to ascertain that they were really reported as missing that the police verify. As several people wail around the metro pillars, while Bhairavudu is enjoying the view of everyone crying, Shiva kills Bhairavudu's brother which angers Bhairavudu. Bhairavudu goes to kill Shiva's family, but Shiva saves them by sending several services home, such as water can, pizza delivery, cab, ambulance, etc. Bhairavudu sneaks away and causes accident for Shiva. Shiva recognizes Bhairavudu as he's put into an ambulance and shoots Bhairavudu but ensures that it's not a fatal injury. Bhairavudu falls off the bridge into water behind. Shiva recovers from the wound in about 4 days with the help of Charlie, as she is a medical student. Shiva's higher officials threaten to start interrogation and punish him for violating several rules and laws. However, Shiva negotiates for just 2 hours of time to catch Bhairavudu. Shiva hijacks a popular TV show, enlists some local ladies to surround and rescue victims which Bhairavudu held hostage. Shiva then manages to capture Bhairavudu and impresses his higher officials. Then Bhairavudu tells Shiva that he had already planned a big rock fall in the city at a crowded area. Shiva stops the big rock with a large truck thus saving several lives, but by then it already crushed some people and cars. Meanwhile Bhairavudu escapes from the police quarters and plans to destroy a hospital. Shiva gets a tip-off from Charlie about which hospital was targeted and he reaches there just in time but the bombs go off so he couldn't save some patients. Shiva rescues some people and then fights and kills Bhairavudu. finally Shiva tells media about humanity that everyone is 4-6% sadistic, but Bhairavudu had 15%. He requests everyone to help unknown people, and thus serve humanity.

            The only mission in Stalin's (Chiranjeevi) life is to help others and to make the world a better place. It turns out that Stalin served as a Major in the Indian Army. Although a war hero, he had quit the army after a rift with Lt. Col. Iqbal (Mukesh Rishi) when he transfers him to administrative division from the battlefield as a disciplinary action. His family includes his mother (Sharada Urvashi) as well as his sister Jhansi (Khushboo), who is not in talking terms with their mother since she got married to a Punjabi.Stalin keeps helping a physically challenged girl Sumati to write her intermediate examination and her suicide disturbs him. The death occurs as none of the people around her extend help. Then Stalin plans a chain system. The theme works on a principle that everyone should help others and in return they should not seek a mere thanks but tell those who get the help to help three more, with a condition that those who get help from them should also demand the same. Stalin thinks that this chain will develop helping attitude among the people. But to his dismay, he finds that the chain did not work. On one occasion, he bashes a rich boy who injured a beggar.This goes in chain reaction and the rich boy employs some goons to attack Stalin. As Stalin disappears from the scene, the goons take Jhansi and her friend Chitra (Trisha) into their custody. Stalin reaches the spot and hacks the hand of one goon. That goon happens to be the henchman of an MLA (Pradeep Rawat), who is also the son-in-law of Home Minister Muddu Krishnayya (Prakash Raj). Muddu Krishnayya takes it as a prestige issue and tries to eliminate Stalin but loses his son (Riyaz Khan) in the process. When the Chief Minister intervenes to bring in a patch-up, the crooked Muddu Krishnayya plans to kill him and implicate Stalin in the murder, but Stalin takes away the injured Paul Matteo and saves him, but he gets a severe chest pain due to exertion.The reason for the chest pain is a bullet, which remained in his chest, very near to the heart. Stalin sustains the bullet injury in the Kargil war, and that was why Iqbal shifted him to administrative department. Finally, the truth prevails and the Chief Minister returns to the hospital to visit Stalin, that the help three people concept was his brainchild, which saved him from death in the form of a school girl. Finally, the doctors successfully remove the bullet, in a very delicate surgery. Stalin comes to know that his "help three people" concept worked well and the same theme saved his life in the form of auto driver. He thanks all the people for making his concept a success.
