Andy was born into a musical family, in Trinidad and Tobago. His cousins include the gospel singer Nisa, and the gospel quartet STB (The St. Hilaire Brothers), both active in Trinidad and Tobago. While Andy sings and studied music, he fell in love with acting. He did his MFA (Theatre) at York University in Toronto. He was privileged to play Othello early on in his career; he would love to do more Shakespeare and theatre, but he also loves film and television. Andy was very thankful to have a one-hour show he co-created with his sister Abi Marshall go to production. Soul ran for only one season, but it had stellar acting thanks to its young and talented cast, some of whom have gone on to successful careers. He's very proud to have worked with Eli Goree, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Ish Morris, Ben Watson, Mpho Koaho, and the lead, Keshia Chanté. Andy is married to Paula Marshall, a teacher.
