
            Kanji Lalji Mehta (Paresh Rawal), a middle-class atheist Hindu owns a shop of Hindu idols and antiques in Mumbai. He is cursed by Siddheshwar Maharaj(Govind Namdeo)when he stopped his son from playing dahi handi. A low-intensity earthquake hits the city, and Kanji's shop is the only shop that is destroyed.Next day at the insurance office, Kanji and his neighbor-assistant Mahadev learn that the disaster claim does not cover any damage caused by natural calamities classified under "Act of God". Running out of options, Kanji decides to file a lawsuit against God but fails to find a lawyer for such a lawsuit. Finally, he meets Hanif Qureshi (Om Puri) and his daughter (Puja Gupta), a poor Muslim lawyer family. Qureshi, a disabled man, helps him file the case as Kanji decides to fight on his own. Legal notices are sent to the insurance company as well as to religious priests, Siddheshwar Maharaj,Gopi Maiyya (Poonam Jhawer) and their group's founder, Leeladhar Swamy (Mithun Chakraborty) summoning them to the court as representatives of God on earth.During the preliminary hearing, opposition lawyer Sardesai (Mahesh Manjrekar) asks the judge to dismiss the case. But Kanji points out that religious groups claim to represent God on Earth and speak on his behalf. Hence, they are answerable for his actions. The Judge agrees and the court accepts the case. However, Kanji soon finds himself trapped amongst armed fundamentalists, with his mortgage bank occupying the house, and his wife leaving him. In all instances, Kanji is rescued by Krishna Vasudev Yadav (Akshay Kumar), who claims to be a real estate agent, rides a hot-shot motorbike. Krishna buys Kanji's house from the bank, but allows Kanji to stay with him.The lawsuit causes a public outcry. As Kanji and Krishna watch this on TV, Krishna advises him to go to the media and present his views to the public. Kanji's interview receives wide coverage and public opinion swings in his favor. Meanwhile, hundreds of people, whose insurance claims were rejected due to "Act Of God" show up at Hanif Qureshi's house and join the lawsuit. Kanji agrees to fight on behalf of all of them. In the next court session, Catholic priests and Muslim Mullahs are also summoned to the court as defendants. However, lawyer Sardesai points out that Kanji has no document that can prove the disaster was an "Act of God". The judge orders Kanji to present a written proof that will support his claim.Kanji loses hope, but Krishna rescues the day again by advising Kanji to read the Bhagavad Gita, and the other holy books such as The Quran and The Bible, telling him that he would find the answer of all his questions. Kanji studies the books intensively for a month. In the next session, Kanji points out a passage present in all the holy books which says that "This world is a creation of God, and it is his will to allow it to grow or destroy", which strengthens his case. As he nears the end of his argument, he suddenly loses consciousness. He is rushed to the hospital, where doctors unsuccessfully try to revive him, leaving him comatose. They announce to the media that Kanji has been paralyzed, and that only God can now save him. When Kanji opens his eyes, he finds Krishna in front of him. Krishna caresses the left side of Kanji's body with his key chain and Kanji is able to walk again.Krishna then reveals to the confused Kanji that he himself is Lord Krishna, and he has saved Kanji to show him that God does exist. Kanji then learns that he has been in a coma for a month and that a lot of things have happened during the period. The lawsuit's verdict was in his favor and religious organizations were ordered by court to pay the compensation to all the plaintiffs; people have started calling Kanji a "God". Meanwhile, Leeladhar, Gopi Maiyya, and Siddheshwar have opened a temple dedicated to Kanji and accumulated millions in donations. He also learns that as per his own "will", he is about to be removed from the ventilator and thousands have gathered for his funeral procession. Krishna gives him a choice of stopping the procession or to sit back quietly. Kanji decides to fight and Krishna takes him on his motorbike to stop the procession. Kanji arrives to find his statues erected at the place where his shop once stood. He wades through the stunned crowd and breaks the statue, then admonishes the crowd about trusting in God-men. He advises them to search for God in themselves, not in statues. When the crowd's anger turns towards the collected God-men, he prevents them from further violence and tells them to allow the cheating group to leave peacefully, advising them not to believe in them anymore.After successfully completing the job, he goes back to Krishna to thank him, only to find him and his motorcycle disappeared. Kanji's family arrive and they are reunited. On their way home, Kanji sees Krishna's key chain on the floor. When he is about to secure it inside his jacket, he hears Krishna's voice, telling him to get rid of the key chain as fear of god was what he fought against all this time. Kanji smiles and throws it away and sees it disappear into the sky with a flash.
    

OMG: Oh My God!


            The plot revolves around an eccentric trio, consisting of a comically hilarious but kind hearted garage owner named Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Paresh Rawal), a crafty and cunning loafer named Raju (Akshay Kumar) and a simple and struggling pauper named Shyam (Sunil Shetty) who find themselves trapped in crazy shenanigans including hilarious bits from Rawal himself.The film begins with Shyam searching for a job at a bank which he find that is given to some girl named Anuradha Shivshankar Panikar (Tabu) even though Shyam's father died in the bank due to a fire. The manager (Asrani) tells Shyam that despite knowing the truth, he is unable to do anything further. Shyam walks off in a huff and accidentally bumps into Raju. Shyam mistakes Raju for a pickpocket and begins to chase him. Raju eventually gets away clean. Raju has his own troubles, dealing with his daydreams and unfriendly and disappointed people he is working for. He doesn't seem to keep a job alive and thus faces many problems.Shyam then approaches a garage owner by the name of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, and manages to get a room on rent by compromising on the amount for Baburao's alcohol. Unknowingly for him Raju is staying in the same house on rent, which he hasn't paid for the last two years. The trio falls into hilarious situations that usually involve Raju instigating Shyam and purposefully trying to create a tandem that Baburao, fondly called as Babu Bhaiyya has to resolve. During one such fight, Anuradha intervenes and tries Shyam to sign the Non-Objection Certificate, so that she could have the job at the bank. When Shyam refuses, Raju makes a plot to make him sign the papers. Shyam eventually finds out that Raju made him sign the papers and that is when the rivalry between the two commences. An old friend of Shyam's, Khadak Singh (Om Puri) comes to Shyam's place asking to return his money so that he can marry off his sister and afford the dowry.Shyam finds out that Raju has been deceiving his mother by posing as an engineer and creates an uncomfortable situation for Raju as he calls his mother fake while being inebriated. Raju retaliates, saying he just wants to see his dying mother happy and nothing else. He will do anything for his mother. This is one of the dramatic moments in the film. Anuradha prepares a job resignation meanwhile and gives it to Shyam, who in return tears it up because of her mentally ailing mother and the debts to be paid to the debtors.Their life takes an unexpected turn when they get a call from Kabeera (Gulshan Grover) which is a wrong number actually meant for the owner of Star fisheries, Mr. Devi Prasad (Kulbhushan Kharbanda). The wrong number is because of the misprint in the phone directory, which renders Star fisheries' number as Star garage's and vice versa. Kabeera, a terrorist cum kidnapper, tells who he thinks is Devi Prasad that his granddaughter is kidnapped and asks for ransom. Raju overhears the entire conversation going between Kabeera and Shyam and decides to play a game.The game involves Shyam calling Devi Prasad posing as the kidnappers and asking for double the ransom amount. This will make their monetary problems disappear. Shyam and Baburao initially repel the idea and try to go the faithful way. But Raju in turn convinces them that even though wrong, this is a golden chance to earn money. Both relent and phone the real Devi Prasad and ask for double ransom. Their first attempt gets foiled, by the police and Kabeera informs them that the ransom has been doubled. They phone Devi Prasad again. This time they ask for a foolproof double ransom.They reveal their true identities to Devi Prasad to win his confidence and try to save the girl from the kidnappers. But the girl recognizes Shyam as an imposter and Kabeera gets alerted. A huge fight involving the police, Kabeera's gang members and Khadak Singh's men, infuriated by the delay in the money return intervene the fight, takes place. The scenes are hilariously choreographed, especially those involving Baburao losing his spectacles and accidentally firing an AK-47 all over the floor. The girl is saved by the three and returned to Devi Prasad. Baburao and Shyam go home happily intending to find Raju with the money, but they find him missing. They call the police and Raju is found to be gone to return the money of the debtors.In the end, Devi Prasad comes to the trio's rescue and convinces the police that it was all a misunderstanding and saves the three and they go home, richer than ever.
    

Hera Pheri


            The story opens on 18 March 1987, where a walk-in CBI interview is taking place, held by the characters of Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher. The film then goes into flashback.Ajay Singh (Akshay Kumar) calls a local police station to obtain more manpower for a CBI raid. He speaks to SI Ranveer Singh (Jimmy Shergill) who agrees to send the required number of support officers. Ajay, with accomplices P.K. Sharma (Anupam Kher), Jinder (Rajesh Sharma), and Iqbal (Kishor Kadam), meet the support officers and conduct the raid.Following the successful raid at a minister's house, it's revealed that Ajay and Sharma are fake CBI officers, along with their two accomplices. They then move to different parts of the country where they're from and merge into their everyday lifestyles. Ajay's love interest, Priya (Kajal Aggarwal), an about-to-be-married teacher, is introduced here. The crew meets again in Chandigarh at the behest of Sharma for his daughter's wedding.Ranveer with his senior officer meet the minister of the earlier raid, who reveals that he doesn't want the news to appear in the public domain because he wants to protect his image. The senior officer suspends Ranveer with his colleague Shanti (Divya Dutta) for being irresponsible.CBI officer Waseem Khan (Manoj Bajpayee) lives with his wife (Neetu Singh) and child in New Delhi. He apprehends a criminal named Gupta, which gives an insight into his character. A disgraced Ranveer meets Khan, and they join hands to apprehend Ajay and his fellow criminals.Meanwhile, the next raid planned by Ajay is conducted on a traders' business in Bara Bazar in Kolkata posing as officers from the Income Tax Department. Following the more difficult but successful raid, Khan insists that this should be reported in the newspaper, despite nobody coming forward to report it themselves, as black money is involved. Upon seeing this in the newspaper, Ajay and Sharma decide to conduct their "big job," a final raid in Mumbai.After the second income tax raid, the story briefly focuses on Ajay and Priya, with the latter's marriage being planned. She insists to go with Ajay for the final job, but he tells her to meet him at the airport at 4 pm on the day.Meanwhile, Ranveer finds information about Sharma, and Khan orders wire-tapping his phone. When Sharma is talking to Ajay on the phone, Khan procures several details about them, including the names Joginder and Iqbal and 'Ajju' (Ajay's nickname). As a result, under Khan's orders, officers track the crew to Mumbai to a hotel where they're staying. They plan to raid and hence rob a big jewellery store.Ajay, followed by a CBI officer, goes to a newspaper to advertise for "50 dynamic graduates" with details of an interview. Khan embeds his officers among the candidates and they are selected. Khan finds out the details of the training process, which includes a mock raid. It is stated that, on the day, the candidates will be trained and then led out for the mock raid in the afternoon. However, no details about the raid have come to light.To find out more, Khan and Ranveer go to the hotel and force their way into Sharma's room. He divulges the information about the raid, following a threat of violence. He also mentions that Ajay is taking revenge on the CBI for not appointing him. Khan orders Sharma to ensure everything proceeds as normal.On the day of the raid, Khan takes charge of the jewellery store, and replaces the goods with fake jewellery, with the originals being moved to a nearby workshop. He is given constant information about the activity of the crew and recruits. Ajay informs the recruits that he will come in a different vehicle to them. Sharma leaves with the recruits in a bus, but leaves the bus at police headquarters, saying that he will arrive with Ajay. He also states that nobody should leave the bus until they arrive and that he is going to verify the paperwork for the raid. In reality, he goes to meet Ranveer Singh. With Ajay, a raid of the workshop is carried out. Ajay then goes and meets Priya at the airport.Meanwhile, at the jewellery store, Khan is informed that the raid was conducted at the workshop and all jewellery in the workshop along with the jewellery that were moved were stolen. Khan works it all out for himself, realising that Ranveer was part of the gang and he wasn't a real police officer, and they were set up right from the beginning. Khan starts laughing loudly and applauding the entire robbery. Later, Khan receives a money order for Rs. 100 that Ajay had taken from him with the message that he could not steal the honest earnings of an officer. The film ends with Khan being told over the phone that the CBI has information about the perpetrators. At the same time we see Ajay Singh and P.K. Sharma enjoying a cricket match happily, at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium with their wives, Joginder, and Iqbal.

            The story starts with the marriage of Lakshmikant Chauhan (Akshay Kumar) and Gayatri (Radhika Apte), a happy go lucky couple. Lakshmikant is deeply in love with his wife and will do anything for her comfort and happiness. When Gayatri is temporarily banished from the household during her menstrual periods, Laxmi is caught unaware due to his lack of knowledge about the subject which is otherwise referred to as 'five day test match for women' by the village youth. Laxmi makes his peace with it but gets worried on seeing Gayatri using a dirty rag during her periods. When asked about it, Gayatri tells him it's none of his business and he, being a 'pure' human should not interfere in this feminine topic. Undeterred, Laxmi goes to a medical store and buys sanitary pads for his wife which cost Rs.55. When he reaches home and hands it over to Gayatri, she reprimands him and tells him to return it as using such costly napkins meant cutting off milk expenses of a month. Unable to return it, Laxmi, crestfallen, goes to work where a worker gets injured. He immediately applies a pad to the injury despite the others referring to it as 'impure'. In the hospital, the doctor lauds Laxmi's quick thinking and says that it is the cleanest choice to stop bleeding. Excited, Laxmi then buys some cotton, cloth and glue and makes a temporary pad which he thinks is a better replacement for the costly one.Gayatri uses it but the pad fails in its function and she tells Laxmi to not interfere in women's matters again. Laxmi disregards her, again tries to make a pad, and attempts to give it to a neighbor girl which again creates a mess. He then gives it to a medical student who decides to help him out but is deterred by her friends. To add to his woes, the meeting of Laxmi and the medical student is spotted by his close relative which makes his wife think that Laxmi has an extramarital affair. Laxmi visits his sister and tries to give her pads which leads to embarrassment in front of her in-laws. Gayatri then makes Laxmi promise to not involve anyone in this mess anymore. Adhering to her words and yet unwilling to let go of the issue, Laxmi then tries it on himself by attaching a balloon filled with goat blood borrowed from a friend, which leads to Laxmi getting blood stains on trousers in public resulting in humiliation. This act causes him to be branded a 'pervert' and a 'man with loose morals' by the entire village. Gayatri's brothers take her away and Laxmi decides to leave the village, pledging to fight the taboo surrounding menstruation.After learning that sanitary pads use the more absorbent cellulose fibre rather than cotton, Laxmi then goes to a college to gain knowledge about the materials used in sanitary napkins. In need of money and shelter, he ends up working as a manservant in a professor's house. The professor's son introduces him to the internet and helps him get every piece of information. He places an order for cellulose fibre for sanitary pad with an international company. The professor is baffled by Laxmi's actions and shows him videos of pad making machines worth crores to derail his ideas. Instead, Laxmi decides to make his own pad vending machine and leaves the house. He borrows money for his machine and then manages to make a near perfect pad but has no one to test it. By a chance of events, he meets Pari Walia (Sonam Kapoor), and supplies a pad to her. The next day, Laxmi visits her and asks her for feedback. Shocked, she says that it was just like other normal pads. His joy knows no bounds and he calls Gayatri to give her the news. Gayatri, however, gets upset at his obsession with menstruation and her brother warn Laxmi to stay away from them.Meanwhile, Pari invites him to an innovation fair in IIT-Delhi with the winner receiving Rs.2,00,000 as prize money. Laxmi's invention is recognized as the 'Life-changing Innovation of the Year' and he is honoured and felicitated. He shoots to fame but the villagers, on realizing the nature of his invention, badmouth and insult him. His machine is patented and Pari helps him reach out to and sell his pads to the rural women, who later join him, in his pad making venture under the brand name 'Pari'. Laxmi proceeds to make more low cost sanitary pad manufacturing machines for sale to rural women. He is invited to New York and gives a speech in UNICEF which makes him popular. Back home, he is awarded the Padmashri. Pari falls in love with him but then dismisses her own feelings for his happiness. Laxmi returns to a hero's welcome in his village. The film ends with Laxmi and Gayatri finally uniting and Pari leaving with happy memories of Laxmi.
    

Pad Man


            The film opens in Kuwait (Aug 1990) with Indian businessman Ranjit Katiyal clinching a business deal with the Emir of Kuwait. Katiyal is a ruthless businessman who will go to any lengths to make a profit. He is successful and well connected in Kuwait and Iraq. Katiyal calls himself a Kuwaiti and is generally derisive towards Indians. He has a large and well appointed mansion in Kuwait, he makes a happy home with his wife Amrita and his sweet little daughter Simu.Late that evening he receives word that Iraq has attacked Kuwait. (He explains that Iraq and Kuwait have had tense relations: Iraq owes a large dollar debt to Kuwait and Saddam has urged the Kuwaiti establishment to reduce oil supply so prices can rise. When Kuwait refused and remained defiant Saddam ordered the attack.) At this point Katiyal believes the attack is one of the many minor border skirmishes. He asks Amrita to take the child away to London for a few days until things cool down.In short order he discovers that the attack was not a minor skirmish. Iraqi soldiers are overruning Kuwait and plundering the city and indiscriminately targeting and murdering Kuwaiti citizens. Katiyal and Nair drive to the Indian Embassy. They are stopped by angry Iraqi soldiers (still in their teenage years) and when Nair begins pleading in Arabic he is shot dead. Katiyal manages to reach the Embassy. The consul, a friend of Katiyal, explains that the Kuwaiti government (the Emir family and others) has fled and Kuwaiti money is now worthless. The 170,000 Indians in Kuwait are now refugees until India decides its policy.Katiyal returns. He is pulled out at a checkpost and taken to the Emir palace. Iraqi Major Khalaf is now in charge. He chides Katiyal for not remembering him from his previous visits to Iraq. He explains that Iraq has always enjoyed good relations with India and now he extends his own personal friendship to Katiyal by which he means Katiyal should transact business with him; business now includes supplies, transport out of Kuwait and anything else that may be needed. Katiyal hurries home; his mansion is looted but his wife and child are safe at his office. Katiyal meets with his friends (one of them owns a supermarket). After some initial confusion he manages to convince them to stay together. A makeshift camp is set up at a nearby school and some 500 Indians move in. Amrita urges Katiyal to use his clout to extricate his own family but Katiyal (who ordinarily would have just looked to himself) appears to have a change of heart.Katiyal decides to stay and help the others get out. He eventually discovers that the Indian Embassy has been evacuated as well. He phones the Indian External Affairs Ministry in New Delhi where he reaches Joint Secretary Kohli who, as is common in the Ministry, redirects him to another officer. As Katiyal is trying to reach someone the camp is looted by Iraqi soldiers. Katiyal reaches the Major who explains that his soldiers need food and may return again. The Major also reveals that Saddam has already permitted Indians to leave Kuwait. Katiyal goes to Baghdad to try and set up a way out of Kuwait.Arriving in Baghdad Katiyal discovers that the Indian Embassy is of no help. (The consul explains that they cannot issue passports since many others - Pakistanis and Bangladeshis - use war as a convenient excuse to claim Indian nationality.) Kuwaitis in Iraq have also fled. The only remaining option, Iraqi Foreign Minister Aziz is somewhat helpful. He is a friend of Katiyal and is sympathetic to the cause. He discloses that an Indian merchant ship is due to arrive in Iraq and he will tacitly permit the 500 Indians to leave on the ship. Katiyal is grateful and returns to Kuwait with the news. But as soon as the buses are loaded and ready to leave Katiyal receives the distressing news that there is a UN embargo and ships are barred from entering or leaving Iraq. One of Katiyal's cantankerous employees rails against him. Amrita comes to his defense and after a loud argument everyone is resolutely supportive of Katiyal.Katiyal continues to keep in touch with the Indian Ministry officer Kohli but Kohli is somewhat of a sluggard. But when his own father recounts their tale of woe during the partition of India, Kohli awakens and begins to actively petition the Minister. The Minister sadly explains that they are in a weak coalition government and the Kuwaiti problem is not a high priority. But Kohli persists and the Minister, half in frustration and half in agreement, asks Kohli to handle it. Kohli approaches Air India (then national airline) and orchestrates an evacuation of the 170,000 Indians in Kuwait.The last part of the plan is arduous. Katiyal bluffs and threatens the Major to get him to let them leave. (The Major had thought he would have obtained more concessions from Katiyal.) Kohli pleads and wrangles the Indian establishment to get the Amman Embassy to issue permits. When Katiyal finally loads up the Indians and leaves he encounters hostile Iraqi soldiers who stop him at a border checkpoint and threaten to rape Amrita. Katiyal fights them off when he finds the Indian contingent right behind him. The Iraqi soldier drops his weapons and lets them pass. They all arrive in Jordan and the Amman Embassy receives word in the nick of time to let them leave for India. Kohli has successfully negotiated safe passage of all the Indians. Air India supplies the planes and the pilots, previously unwilling to fly over war zones, have had a change of heart towards their brethren.             (Get Ready To Hear "baby for Best Picture") **!
Honestly, I came into this movie with so-so expectations as the trailer I saw in a different movie made me give myself a 50% chance to watch it, up in the air if you will. But from the moment the movie began up until the end, I was gripping for the characters the whole way, the way movies should be.
The film is absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best films I've seen in a long time,The story, acting, pacing, editing, etc. was just fantastic. direction was solid, and the suspense will keep you entertained right through to the last seconds. I loved it.

            The film revolves around a small village. Badri, (Manoj Joshi) heads a Brahmin family whose ancestral palace is believed to be haunted by a ghost of Manjulika, a Bengali dancer. One day, Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and Avni (Vidya Balan), the son and daughter-in-law of Badri's elder brother, return to their native village from America and decide to stay for a month in their ancestral palace. Here, Siddharth is crowned as the king, his right to the throne.Events take a twist when Avni opens a locked forbidden room that contains the ghost of Manjulika with the help of Nandini (Tareena Patel) who is Siddharth's cousin. Unnatural events start taking place inside the palace. Avni ends up falling in love with the place and begins to learn about Manjulika and her tragic story. Badri and Batuk Shankar (Paresh Rawal) try to ward off the evil eye with the help of a priest and philosopher Shri Yagyaprakashji Bharti (Vikram Gokhale), but unfortunately the priest has gone to London and is unsure when he might be back. They try to force back the so called 'evil ghost' of Manjulika to her room with the help of a local priest Chhote Pandit (Rajpal Yadav) but their attempt fails and the priest after seeing the moving shadow of Manjulika coming towards him, ends up being a mad man.Siddharth starts to suspect Radha (Ameesha Patel) for all the weird things going around. He thinks that she has gone mad, since he was supposed to marry her, but instead ended up marrying Avni. So, he calls his friend/psychiatrist Dr. Aditya Shrivastav (Akshay Kumar) to try to figure out what the problem is with Radha. Later, it is discovered that Radha is actually Badri's adopted daughter and that he brought her up as if she were his own.Once Aditya reaches the palace things start to become comical as no one in the palace likes him and thinks he is fool due to the way he dresses and acts. Aditya starts to use modern analytical techniques to find out the reason behind the so-called ghost problem. He eventually realizes that Radha is not at fault, and that there was someone else behind it all. One night, while patrolling the palace, he also encounters the so-called Manjulika and dares her to strike. The ghost, in return vows to take her revenge on the auspicious day of Durgashtami.During the engagement of Nandini with Sharad Pradhan (Vineeth), Avni ends up spilling food on Sharad, and takes him away to get him cleaned. Aditya than notices that Avni is missing and so he asks Siddharth to help him find her. When they do, they see that there is a struggle between Avni and Sharad, and they eventually end up breaking the struggle and Siddharth begins to hit Sharad thinking that he was going to violate Avni. But, Aditya tells him that she is actually the culprit and that she has Dissociative Identity Disorder, a disease that affects the person's identity. To make sure that things work out the way they are supposed to he must bring out Manjulika's identity. In order to support his argument, Aditya reveals that he has visited Avni's hometown to gather information about her childhood and he has factual evidence. He then asks the half-convinced Siddtharth to provoke Avni in order to make her realize that something is wrong. When Siddharth does this, Avni shows personality of Manjulika before coming to her usual self, much to the concern of Siddharth, who asks Aditya to do anything to save Avni.They then see her as Manjulika dancing to the tunes she had been dancing to with her love Shashidhar before the king killed him. Through this the sad love story of the old king Vibhuti Narayan, who loved a dancer, Manjulika, who, in turn, loved Shashidhar (the dancer in the same court) is revealed. Avni, while possessed by Manjulika's personality, imagined herself and Sharad, (whom she thinks is Shashidhar), dancing in the court of the king. This triggered Avni's disorder; she assumes the identity of Manjulika and tries to kill her own husband Siddharth, as she sees him as Vibhuti Narayan who killed Manjulika's lover and later locked her up in her room where she committed suicide.In order to cure Avni of her illness, Aditya triggers Manjulika's personality and makes her promise to leave if Manjulika gets the opportunity to kill the king and have her revenge. Meanwhile the priest Shri Yagyaprakashji Bharti (who happens to be Aditya's guide) also arrives to visit Siddharth. With his help, during the ritual of Durgashtami, Manjulika is tricked and slays a dummy of Siddharth thinking she was killing the king. After the killing, Manjulika's personality leaves Avni forever. Aditya hypnotizes the unconscious Avni and tells her that everything is fine and that she will continue her life as a same, happy and peaceful person. Everything ends well and Aditya tells Radha that he will send his parents if she is interested in marrying him.

            Khakee is the story of ACP Anant Kumar (Amitabh Bachchan). Anant is soon placed on a deadly mission to escort terrorist suspect Iqbal Ansari (Atul Kulkarni) to Mumbai where the latter will be tried in court. Joining Anant is Inspector Shekhar Verma (Akshay Kumar) and Sub-inspector Ashwin Gupte (Tushaar Kapoor). On the other hand, the team are being followed by a group of terrorists lead by Yashwant Angre (Ajay Devgan) who will stop at nothing to ensure Ansari is dead.

            Obsessive and temperamental bank manager Vijay Singh Rajput (Amitabh Bachchan) loses his job for badly beating up a bank clerk who tried to embezzle money. Angered at losing his job he plots revenge on the bank by intending to stage a heist. He employs three blind men - Vishwas (Akshay Kumar), a blind person who has the power of the sixth sense, Elias (Paresh Rawal) and Arjun (Arjun Rampal) - when, after passing by school for the blind, he understands that blind people can be trained to do things like sighted people. He blackmails and enlists the help of Neha (Sushmita Sen) who is a teacher at the school to train the trio to do the seemingly impossible heist. He chose blind people because they, as thieves, would never be suspected as no one would believe blind people can rob a bank.The bank robbery is successful, with the jewels safely captured by the three. However, in the process of robbing the bank, Elias's face is exposed, captured in footage and prompting citywide posters with his face. Meanwhile, Mr. Rajput anxiously tries to extort information from Vishwas and Arjun regarding the jewels and their location. Unable to answer, as they did not collect the items, they try to defer the answer by changing subjects. Ultimately, it is revealed that Elias is the one with complete knowledge of the box's belongings. Meanwhile, tensions rise between Rajput and Neha; the latter resists the abusive nature of Rajput and his obnoxious harassing of Vishwas and Arjun. Arjun confesses his love to Neha, who reveals that she is associated in the plot only for the well-being of her younger brother, Rahul, who has been kidnapped by Rajput.In a furious attempt, the police try to locate Elias. Elias lands up at Rajput's place after getting drunk. Rajput tries several ways to force Elias into revealing the location of the box. Unable to generate an answer, he slams Elias, who falls on the ground and injures his eyes, causing bleeding. Even in this scenario, Rajput tries to get the information, but Vishwas and Arjun resist and claim that they will reveal the location if Elias is treated by paramedics. Rajput send them to get Dr. Siddiqui. Vishwas senses that Elias is in danger and Arjun and Vishwas double back to the training center to save him. Rajput starts to harass Elias by tickling him to force him to reveal the answer. In the action, Elias falls of the balcony and dies. Unable to bear the shock of the death, Neha pulls a gun on Rajput and threatens to reveal everything to the police if he does not leave her and the other two alone. Rajput notifies Neha that all these acts were done under her training, and he is spotless. Unable to bear this fact, Neha shoots herself, just as Vishwas and Arjun return after hearing loud screams.Both men gang up on Rajput and try to attack him. Once Rajput realizes that the men are ignorant about the jewels, he starts shooting them. The police arrive, and confusion ensues. Vishwas and Arjun come out and claim that Rajput is abusing them while he claims that there is a big conspiracy involving the two men, Neha and Elias. Unable to believe that blind men can ransack a bank and amidst Rajput's impassioned defense, the police start getting suspicious. In the heat of defending himself, Rajput reveals that he had sent over Elias, thus confessing his crime.In the end Rajput is locked away. Vishwas and Arjun decide to take care of Rahul and ultimately find the jewels - they were hidden in Elias' musical instrument.Alternate ending
In an alternate ending for overseas viewers Rajput bribes the cop (Aditya Pancholi) and is set free. Vishwas and Arjun are sitting in a train (waiting for it to depart) and Rajput is standing on the platform with a smile on his face. He then warns them that "A dangerous game is about to begin", after which Vishwas and Arjun both draw their guns, and the film ends.

On the contrary, Saiba is a professional boxer, and is completely modern in her outlook. Virat notices her in a boxing match and falls in love with her instantly.One day, while traveling in a bus with his friend sub-inspector Mukund "Makhiya" Deshmukh (Sumeet Raghavan), Virat, while chasing a man who he regards with suspicion when he tries to flee the scene of a check going on after a passenger reports his wallet as stolen, witnesses a bomb explosion killing innocent people. Virat manages to capture the man who planted the bomb but he escapes from the hospital with the help of a police officer. Virat kidnaps the terrorist again, tortures him to ascertain the name of the police officer and also forces corrupt police officer Ashok Gaikwad (Gireesh Sahedev) to commit suicide. He later discovers that a terrorist group has planned serial blasts in Mumbai to be executed in a couple of days with the help of 12 sleeper agents. Virat remembers that on the day when the bombs are going to be planted, there is a wedding where his team member Joel (Randheer Rai) is tying the knot and all his Army officer friends are going to assemble. Along with his fellow Army officers and Mukund, Virat manages to track these bombers and kills them before they could trigger the bombs.When the leader of these sleeper cells, Shadab Ali Farooqui (Freddy Daruwala) finds out about the team of officers involved in the failure of the terrorist attack, he goes to Joel's (Randheer Rai) house and kills his family and finds an album which has photos of team officers. He targets one officer's female relative from each team and kidnaps them. When Virat realizes the plan, he substitutes one of the girls to be kidnapped, with his younger sister Priti (Cherry Mardia). Using his pet dog Rocky and his sister's dupatta, he manages to reach the terrorist's hideout. He eliminates all the terrorists and rescues all the victims including his sister, who was about to be killed after Virat's bluff was exposed. Virat also captures Asif Ali (Dipendra Sharma), who was the leader of the group but later kills him on realizing that Asif is just the second-in-command of the sleeper cells.When this attack fails, Shadab decides to target Virat himself. He kills Kapil and his family, he being one of the army officers and forces Virat to surrender. Virat decides to sacrifice his life and plans a suicide attack by instructing Mukund and his fellow officers to follow him via a tracking chip inserted in his arm and plant a bomb at the terrorists' hideout. Virat then drives to a port in various cars, as instructed by Shadab and ends up on a ship full of terrorists. To his shock, Virat finds out that the cars he was asked to drive had bombs in them, which will frame him and his team as terrorists and also boost their plans to recruit sleeper cells in Indian Army with the help of Joint Defense Secretary of India - Mr. Alvin D'souza (Zakir Hussain), who is also a member of this terrorist group. Meanwhile, Joel (Randheer Rai) who was in touch with Mukund as instructed by Virat, plants a bomb at the base of the ship. Virat has a one-on-one fight with Shadab and escapes with him on a boat before the ship explodes, also later killing Shadab. The film ends with Virat forcing Alvin D'souza to commit suicide and later returning to guard the border along with his team.

            Indian-born Manmohan Malhotra (Rishi Kapoor) re-located to London, England, established himself, returned to India, got married to Bebo (Nina Wadia), and after four years got a visa for her so that she could live with him. Shortly thereafter, she gave birth to Jasmeet (Katrina Kaif). Manmohan was always embarrassed by Bebo as she was fat and could not speak English. As a result, he always left her out of important occasions, while he socialized. Bebo did not want Jasmeet to end up like her, so she got her educated in an English school, encouraged to mingle with British friends, and Jasmeet was transformed into Jazz - a beautiful young woman, Western in looks, speech, habits, and heart.Her father had set her to meet a young lad, Bobby Bedi (Ritesh Deshmukh), though the date turns out to be a disaster and Bobby rejects her. Manmohan thinks that it is impossible to get him an Indian son-in-law, although his friend, Parvez Khan (Javed Sheikh), is in a similar situation with his son, Imran (Upen Patel), who has a blonde girlfriend, Susan (Tiffany Mulheron). Manmohan takes his family for a tour in India and forces Jasmeet to marry Arjun Singh (Akshay Kumar) who is a villager and does not know how to speak English.On their return to London, Jasmeet announces that she is getting married to Charlie Brown (Clive Standen), who is well educated and has good friends and connections, even with Prince Charles. She refuses to recognize her marriage with Arjun as there is no proof of the wedding. When Jasmeet is introduced to the friends of the Brown family, she is subjected to condescension from them (references to snake charmers, Indian rope tricks, tandoori chicken and so on) as well as a quote from Winston Churchill: 'When we leave India, the country will be in the hands of goons'. Arjun then tells the gentleman about the achievements of India which includes about the derivation of English words from Sanskrit like 'Mother', 'Brother', 'Trigonometry' and 'Geometry'. During this period, Jazz becomes close with Arjun who still supports her. Charlie Brown then has a rugby match against the Indians and Arjun, which the English lose and Brown is verbally racist to the Indians. Imran is then asked by Susan's parents to leave Islam, become a Christian, change his name to Emmanuel or Ian, as well as provide written proof that his family is not associated with terrorists. The film ends on a happy note when Imran decides not to be a Christian and Susan is accepted by Imran's family; Jazz realizes her love for Arjun, runs away from her wedding to Charlie Brown, and goes with Arjun back to India where they are seen riding Arjun's motorcycle. While they are on the motorcycle Arjun reveals that all along he knew how to speak English. They all live happily ever after.

            Vishal Agnihotri (Sunil Shetty), a convict, is imprisoned for the murder of a group of four criminals who had brutally raped and killed his sister-in-law. Vishal tries to get justice in court, but is unsuccessful and the men are released from prison with the help of a corrupt lawyer. The criminals then visit Vishal's home because he tried to file a case against them. The four criminals try to rape Vishal's wife Priya (Poonam Jhawer), but she kills herself with a knife. Angered at all this, Vishal decides to take the matter into his own hands and murders the four criminals himself. He is sentenced to life in prison for the crimes.When journalist Roma Singh (Raveena Tandon) visits the jail for a report that she's writing, a few of the convicts try to rape her. The attempted rape reminds Vishal of his misfortune and he intervenes and saves Roma. Roma hears Vishal's story and decides to help free him. She is heard by a blind businessman - Mr. Jindal (Naseeruddin Shah) who tries to recruit Vishal as a hit-man. He wants Vishal to kill some anti-social elements in the city, mainly the two powerful drug lords Jibran (Raza Murad) and Tyson (Gulshan Grover) and all the people who work for them. Mr. Jindal tells Vishal that these drug lords are responsible for creating people like the group of four men he killed in the first place, by bringing drugs to the streets and corrupting the locals. Vishal refuses at first as he has just got out of prison, and now wants to live a normal life. However, the memories of his murdered family come back to haunt him as he spends a day alone in his home, and he agrees to work for Jindal.Inspector Sahoo (Paresh Rawal) is very greedy and becomes an informer for Jibran, one of the targeted drug lords. He discloses all internal matters of the police department to Jibran in return for money.Police Inspector Amar Saxena (Akshay Kumar) is trying to catch the drug-trading suspects. He is unhappy about the release of Vishal, who he believes deserves to be in prison because of the murders he committed. Things become even more complicated when Amar finds Vishal at most of the murder scenes of criminals involved in drug-trading. Vishal goes on a murder spree, until he realizes that even the Commissioner (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) thinks that the unknown murderer is doing more to help society than police could ever do. Vishal refuses to kill the Commissioner, thus angering his boss, Jindal. Vishal attacks Jindal with a paper-weight, but Jindal dodges it. Vishal then realizes that Jindal is not blind and is the real antagonist, as he was pulling the strings all this time.Jindal tells Vishal that Jibran and Tyson were his rivals. He also confesses that he murdered his wife Pooja (Priya Tendulkar) and Inspector Karan Saxena (who happens to be Amar's father), to cover up the truth, and faked his blindness to throw the police off his trail. Jindal, who has now partnered with his former enemy, Jibran, leaves Vishal to die. Vishal escapes, only to be confronted by Amar. Vishal subdues Amar and tells him the truth. Inspector Sahoo, who is brought to Jindal by Jibran to give him important information about Vishal, tells him that Vishal is alive and will tell the entire truth to Amar and the Commissioner by the next morning. Then Jindal kidnaps the journalist, Roma, and kills the sub-editor Siddiqui, who tries to save Roma. Amar, Vishal and the Commissioner go to Jindal's home to arrest him, but they find the sub-editor, Siddiqui, brutally murdered at his home. They discover that Jindal has kidnapped Roma in order to forcefully marry her. Amar and Vishal find Jindal's den with the help of Inspector Sahoo and corner him.After a melee, Jibran is killed. Jindal tries to kill Amar, but Vishal takes the bullet and dies in Amar's lap. Amar kills Jindal and avenges the death of Vishal and his father.

            The film starts off when two photographers Makrand, aka Mac (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam, aka Sam (John Abraham) are doing a photo shoot. While Mac is shooting the models in exposing poses, his fiancée Anjali (Rimi Sen) leaves in disgust due to Mac's closeness to the models. Their boss calls them into his office and tells them that they are good-for-nothing photographers. He threatens to reduce their pay if they don't get some good pictures for the world photography competition to make his magazine Garam Masala famous.Both Mac and Sam ask Maggie (Neha Dhupia), the boss's secretary, on a date on the same day, at the same restaurant at the same time. As all three meet up at the restaurant a pickpocket takes Mac's and Sam's wallets. After the meal, the competition to impress Maggie heightens thus evoking humorous events after which Sam and Mac leave Maggie to pay the bill.Sam visits a famous photographer, praising him and asking for a few outstanding shots. These stolen shots help Sam to win the world photography competition. He gets promoted, is given ten percent of the prize money and has his pay doubled, whilst Mac receives a demotion to assistant. Sam flies off to the US to enjoy his holiday, leaving Mac fuming in Mauritius.The chief editor persuades Mac to show up Sam by getting three women to be his fiancées, getting a very expensive flat and driving very expensive, imported cars. Following his promise, Mac gets a high-quality flat and gets access to three beautiful air hostesses. His driver, Babban (Rajpal Yadav), is his key to the high life. Not only does Babban get Mac access to the flat, he delivers very high-end cars to impress his fiancées. He drives Mac's cars and does all his services for a small amount of liquor every day. Lastly, Babban gets Mac a housekeeper, Mambo (Paresh Rawal), who has an attitude problem and doesn't care what goes on in his flat so long as his demands are met.He has affairs with each of the three women-Deepti (Daisy Bopanna), Puja (Nargis Bagheri) and Sweety (Neetu Chandra)-and creates chaos. Sam returns from America, only to find his friend turned rival, playing around with three women at once. He tries to help his friend and tries out his own luck with the girls.The story turns into mayhem when it's hard for the two boys to maintain the three girls simultaneously. Mac's original fiancée Anjali learns about Mac's acts, and it creates a bigger mess. When their cook Mambo leaves, they begin to realize their mistakes and Mac attempts reuniting with Anjali; in the end they escape with each other.

            Ishwarchand Thakur (Amitabh Bachchan) and Sumitra Thakur (Shefali Shah) are a married couple who run a toy factory together. They have a son named Aditya Thakur (Akshay Kumar) who does not have any interest in responsibility or what he wants to do in life. It gets even worse when he elopes with his girlfriend, Pooja (Priyanka Chopra), the daughter of Natu (Boman Irani).When Pooja gets pregnant, both Ishwar and Sumitra decide to make Aditya realize his responsibilities, as he will have to take care of his wife and child. They take drastic measures and throw Aditya out of the house along with Pooja. As a result, Aditya and Pooja live in a room at the back of the house in the garden. The force becomes so bad that Aditya begins to hate his father and they do not speak to each other for a long time. At the same time Aditya becomes aware of his role in life.However, Ishwar has done all this for a reason and is hiding something. Ishwar is trying to make sure that his son is secure but because he is suffering from lung cancer and he wants his son to be responsible. Aditya succeeds in becoming a responsible man and also finds out the truth about his father when his father comes for his performance on the stage. He steps on the stage but instead he asks the audience to pray to god to give a minute of their lives to keep his father alive until his son's birth. His father is alive until his son is born and he names the baby boy 'Ishwar' after himself and he dies. The movie reaches its climax with Aditya welcoming children at his father's toy factory and playing with an alone, disabled boy like Ishwar did at the start of the film with his family there including his toddler Ishwar. The spirit of Ishwar touches Sumitra's flowers in her hair and it reminds her of the old times.
    

Waqt: The Race Against Time


            Sameer (Salman Khan) is ill-tempered, with anger-management issues since his parents died during his childhood. When he beats up a group of goons who tried to assault his girlfriend Roma (Amrita Arora), she breaks up with him because of his temper. According to his horoscope, Sameer is unlucky in love. To escape further similar issues, he becomes a lifeguard in Goa.On the train Sameer meets Suraj Prakash (Satish Shah), who makes him think that he is a thief by asking him where he keeps important things (like money) in his luggage. Sameer stays awake all night to avoid being robbed, while Suraj sleeps after conning Sameer into guarding his luggage. Suraj admits this to Sameer the next morning at the station. Sameer learns that Suraj is a security guard at his resort, and puts him on night guard duty for three months. This puts a crimp in Suraj's marriage and, although he apologizes, Sameer is adamant.Sameer meets Rani (Priyanka Chopra), an up-and-coming fashion designer, and falls in love with her. After a rough start with her father Jugraj Singh (Amrish Puri), a former colonel, Rani and Sameer become friends. Sameer's bad luck comes into play; he disagrees with Singh, and Rani becomes angry with him when she overhears him saying bad things about her to Pandit Raj Purohit Jyotshi (Rajpal Yadav).Trouble arrives in the form of Sunny (Akshay Kumar), who shares a room with Sameer. He meets Rani, falls in love with her and decides to capitalize on Sameer's mistakes. This causes friction between the roommates. Sameer gives Rani the money she needs for a fashion competition, calling himself her "well-wisher". Rani wins the competition, and wants to thank her "well-wisher" in person. Sameer (who gave Rani the money he had saved for his grandmother's eye surgery and his sister's wedding) goes to meet her but Sunny gets there first, claims to be the well-wisher and takes her away. Sameer follows on his motorcycle, and accidentally injures Singh (Rani's father). Sunny, who takes credit for a painting of Rani by Sameer, kidnaps her dog Tommy and frames Sameer. Sameer buys an identical dog, and tells Singh that he has found Tommy. He is unmasked when the dog bites Singh and runs away.Although Sameer is angry, he reconciles with Rani with the help of a magician at a New Year's Eve party. Sunny places a bar dancer in Sameer's room one morning; Rani, who went there to invite him for breakfast, sees the dancer sleeping there and assumes that they had sex.Sameer makes another attempt to apologize. When he goes to Rani's house, he is surprised to see Suraj; Suraj is Rani's uncle, who now knows that he loves her. Sameer apologizes, and takes Suraj off night duty. Sameer's partially-blind grandmother mistakes Rani's mother for Rani and tries to persuade her to marry Sameer. Rani's mother tells her daughter to carefully consider whom she loves more: Sameer or Sunny.Sameer decides to leave Goa, and Sunny taunts him that he got close to Rani through Sameer's mistakes. Sameer says that he has had enough dreaming, and wishes Sunny happiness. Sunny taunts Sameer again, and Sameer loses his temper. He chases Sunny through the crowd at a cricket stadium where India and Pakistan are playing a friendly match. Sameer breaks through security, takes the microphone from guest of honor Kapil Dev and apologizes to Rani and her parents. He asks her to marry him in front of the crowd, and Rani runs onto the field and embraces him, thus reuniting with him.Sunny reveals that he is Arun, Sameer's childhood friend who came to Goa to cure Sameer's anger-management issues. He also reveals that he went to visit Sameer after returning from America after 19 years and met Sameer's grandmother, who told him about Sameer's heartbreak and departure for Goa. Arun decided to help Sameer by posing as his enemy, telling Rani and her parents earlier. Sameer is reunited with Arun, who conducts his and Rani's wedding.

The CEO position instead goes to Raj's friend Rakesh (Vivek Shauq), while Raj is placed on the Board of Directors. At a party, Raj, accompanied by Priya, learns about his new boss, Sonia Roy. Priya is surprised that Sonia is the wife of the much older Mr Roy. Raj and his colleagues talk about Sonia being very attractive and the age difference between her and her husband, and Raj jokes that his magnetic personality was responsible for his massive promotion. It is implied that Raj may have encountered Sonia previously.A flashback explores Raj's previous relationship with Sonia. Five years earlier, Raj and Sonia (then a model) meet at a beach in Cape Town. They fall in love and move in together; Sonia becomes pregnant with Raj's child, which makes him happy, but Sonia refuses Raj's marriage proposal and says she is going to terminate the pregnancy as her child would stand in the way of wealth, fame, power and status and their relationship ends.The next day, Rakesh tells Raj about a defect in the company's new mobile handset: a call goes to two people simultaneously-the intended recipient and another random person on the phone's contact list. Raj needs Sonia's permission to stop production, and she invites him to her house to discuss the matter. Sonia makes provocative and sexually explicit statements to Raj, who ignores her. She then aggressively tries to pursue Raj, who resists. Although he repeatedly rejects her advances, Sonia continues trying to seduce him. As he leaves, Sonia threatens to punish him for spurning her. The next day, he learns that Sonia has told her husband that he sexually harassed her. Since he has admitted finding Sonia attractive, his claim of innocence is not believed, and the company pressures him into resignation.Raj asks Chauthrani to take his case; Chauthrani tells him not to resign, and to keep going to work. This case goes to court; Sonia and Roy engage a lawyer (Paresh Rawal). Initially, the bulk of the evidence is against Raj and the case gains widespread media attention. Raj's bank manager returns from Bangkok and gives him a tape that recorded Raj's encounter at Sonia's house. After the tape is proven genuine, Chauthrani is struck by a car driven by a goon hired by Sonia and the tape is destroyed. When Priya asks Raj why he called their bank manager from Sonia's house, he replies that he had called Rakesh, and the call went through to the bank manager as well due to the defect in the company handset. Priya continues the case after Chauthrani's injury. She exposes Sonia's earlier relationship with Raj in Cape Town and finally plays Rakesh's voice mail to the court - revealing what really occurred between Raj and Sonia. It is revealed that Sonia married Roy for money, power and status, but when he could not satisfy her sexually, she tried to resume her relationship with Raj. Priya wins the case and Roy leaves Sonia. Guilt-stricken and humiliated, Sonia commits suicide by jumping from a building. The end credit scene shows Raj and Priya walking their child.

            Champak Chaturvedi (Paresh Rawal) the director of a theater group, is offered a chance to perform a show in London. Babla (Govinda) and Bunty (Akshay Kumar) are two derps and flirts in his group, always fighting with each other to get the role of the hero. Their behavior causes the actress (Tanushree Dutta) to run away. This really upsets the organizer, who offered the chance mainly because of the heroine. After reaching London, Champak tells the duo that whoever gets a new actress will get to become hero. Then Babla asks Gulab Singh Lakhan Singh Haryanewale (Rajpal Yadav), a local driver where he can find a heroine. Gulab Singh misinterprets this as prostitute and directs him to a park.Bunty, who has heard everything, follows them. In a misunderstanding, they meet two men from underworld and exchange their goods, only to find that the men have sold drugs to them since the underworld misinterpreted their need for heroine as "heroin". Bunty convinces Babla into going to the police to turn in the drugs to get good credit or an award, but the police get the wrong impression and think they are drug dealers. Commissioner JD Mehra (Jackie Shroff) releases them after telling them not to leave the country until they are proven innocent. Then while search of a heroine, Bunty and Gulab Singh take help of Guru (Shakti Kapoor), a local don who is a drunkard and they end up breaking his (Guru's) legs. Guru sends his goons to thrash Bunty and Gulab Singh but they escape. They bump into Munni (Lara Dutta), who is trying to commit suicide. Bunty saves her and brings her to the theatre group to be the heroine.Later, Bunty falls in love with Munni, but then she has an accident. The doctor notes that she may have suicidal tendencies. When Munni wakes up, she claims to be Nisha Chauhan, wife of Vikram Chauhan (Arbaaz Khan). They meet Vikram, who confirms her suicidal nature. A heartbroken Bunty accepts the fact and tries to forget her, only to learn some time later that Nisha has burnt herself to death.Meanwhile, the underworld don (Sharat Saxena) who gave drugs and his boss M.G. Gandhi (Manoj Joshi) think that Bunty, Babla and Champak are undercover cops and they want to kill them. However, Bunty suddenly spots Nisha in the city one day. Later, Champak and Babla too see her. On the day of the drama, the trio see Vikram flailing a gun at someone and are shocked to see him die in front of them.All three are frightened and throw his body down a vent. During the performance, Vikram's body falls from the ceiling. Mehra questions everyone and arrests the trio for murder of Vikram. M.G. Gandhi wants the three dead because he thinks they're going to get him thrown in jail. Gandhi's men attack the police car transporting the trio, helping them to escape. The trio try to search priety based on the clues they have. Meanwhile, Gulab Singh is given task by Guru to search for the trio. M G Gandhi captures Champak. Bunty and Babla run into Nisha, well and alive, upon which they trap her at the clock tower of Brighton railway station.It is revealed her real name is Aditi and she was hired by Vikram to play his wife Nisha and convince people she is crazy in return for money and a passport out of the UK. Vikram wanted to kill his real wife Nisha (Gurleen Chopra) to get her wealth. When Aditi found out about his ways, she tried to stop him and failed. She later tried to reach Bunty at the show to tell him about it, but Vikram caught her. Then Mehra arrived at the play and killed Vikram. Just then, Mehra arrives there and confirms that he is indeed Vikram's killer.Mehra reveals that Nisha was his sister and he killed Vikram to avenge her murder. He also intends to kill Aditi as she helped Vikram to pass off Nisha's murder as suicide.The disaster is averted due to an accident.Bunty tries to stop Mehra, saying that Aditi wanted to say something in her defense, but she remains tongue-tied due to fear. Guru and his men take Gulab Singh to the clock, leaving Hakka, Guru's right hand to take care of Ravinder Taneja, the sponsor. Hakka flees towards his master on spotting Gandhi and his men coming with Champak leaving Ravinder. Gandhi mistakes Ravinder as Sherkhan, a drug dealer from whom he used to buy drugs, ending up in annoying Ravinder. Meanwhile, Gulab Singh's employer (who had leased him a taxi) and Hakka, with his friends, enter the scene. Briefed wrongly due to misinterpreting by his men all those who were present as undercover cops, Gandhi fires his pistol towards the ceiling. All reach where Babla, Bunty, Mehra and Aditi stand. Gandhi, again due to incorrect briefing, fires at Mehra, but misses and the bullets pierce a beehive. The honeybees launch an attack, in standing against which everyone loses its head. Mehra flees the scene unhurt, and probably also calls the police.Some climb on the top of the tower, while Bunty breaks the dial of the clock. All cling to the front of the clock while a firefighting crane arrives. The firefighter allows only two people, but everybody holds the crane, overloading and throwing it out of order. The victims are thrown off the crane seconds after they hold it. The first is an Arab(possibly Sherkhan in disguise); he runs head and feet first into a Time Magazine poster. A British drug dealer (who works for Gandhi) then crashes into a window of a nearby building. Bunty and Aditi then land on a hanging poster. Aditi is saved but Bunty falls down. Ravinder lands into the reservoir of a fountain, ingesting a marine animal on reaching underwater. Gulab Singh's employer, Hakka and Guru fall on a palm tree. Gandhi, his other man and Champak land on a live overhead electric line. Hakka drops down onto bouquets displayed under the tree. Guru, hanging on a rope or the line, transports in and disrupts the Pampered Pet Shop. Those on the line get thrown due to electric current. Gandhi lands in a firecracker store. His man falls into white paint. Gandhi emerges out tied to a rocket amidst deafening explosions. He, too, has a dive in the reservoir of a fountain. Champak slides down, ruining a set table. He is taken along by an oncoming Babla into a trashcan. The last to be thrown off the crane is Gulab Singh, who rests on the hands of a statue. The crane then falls apart. When in the hospital, Mehra returns the passports of Babla, Bunty and Champak. Then, he surrenders to his juniors.

Mona (Shilpa Shetty), a cabaret singer and Goli's mistress, agrees to testify against Goli and is placed into witness protection by Inspector Karan (Akshay Kumar), Arjun's younger brother, who aims to fight any injustice and avenge his brother's murder. When Goli finds out about Mona's forthcoming testimonial which would expose his real identity, he tracks her down and kills her.Deepak Kumar (Saif Ali Khan), who is the most romantic actor around, is frustrated with his roles and for being type-cast as a romantic hero. He would like to do something different and bring some change and excitement to his dull and boring existence. To change his monotonous life, he gets drunk and drives around. He is arrested by the police, and brought to his rowdy producer. This is where he meets Karan and is very impressed with his assertiveness, courage, and honesty; Deepak would like to study his behavior so that he can use this as a background for his next movie.Karan meets Basanti, who looks identical to Mona. He tells Deepak to hang around him if Deepak can get Basanti to act as Mona. Deepak trains Basanti and presents the new "Mona" to Karan. Karan places Basanti at the Moonlight Hotel as an amnesiac Mona, where she can report on Goli's criminal activities. That's how they uncover Goli eventually. While Karan and Basanti fall in love with each other, Deepak falls in love with Karan's sister, Shivangi, which makes Karan mad and he tries to get rid of Deepak Kumar, for which Deepak Kumar reminds Karan that he wanted to hang around with him because he wanted to learn what it is like be a cop, and apologizes for loving his sister Shivangi, which makes Karan guilty and tries to win back Deepak Kumar for his sister and Mother-in-Law.At the end, Karan avenges the death of his brother by killing Goli.

They marry and reside in Switzerland, where they meet another Indian couple: Vikram (Akshay Kumar) and Sonia (Bipasha Basu). The couples quickly become friends and decide to go on a Christmas vacation together to Mauritius.During their vacation, Raj sees Vikram with another woman, kissing and looking intimate. At the same time, Sonia begins to try to seduce Raj, who rejects her. Vikram notices Raj looking at Sonia and casually talks to him about wife swapping, this upsets Raj and an argument breaks out between the two men. However, a couple of days later, they resolve their issues and become friends again. On Vikram's birthday, the two men celebrate by getting drunk together, sharing bottles of alcohol. The next morning Raj goes jogging in order to work off his hangover and finds that he cannot recall much of the previous night.After some time, Sonia is found dead, and Raj is accused of her murder since his fingerprints are found on the murder weapon - an alcohol bottle. Determined to prove his innocence, Raj manages to escape from court, and is chased by the Swiss police. He meets Priya, who eventually believes his innocence and aids him in finding out what really happened. He decides to search Vikram's house, only to be interrupted by Vikram, who calls the police and then reveals that everything was planned in advance. Raj escapes in Vikram's car with Priya.Raj finds a boarding pass that belongs to Sonia Bajaj, which states that Sonia arrived in Zurich on 29 December - however, Sonia was supposedly murdered on that night. Raj suspects her to be the woman he saw with Vikram, traveling to Geneva together. In Geneva, Raj meets an insurance officer who is trying to find evidence that Vikram was involved in the death of his wife, in order to receive her life insurance payment of $10 million. Working with the insurance agent, Raj traces Vikram to a cruise ship. There, he sees Vikram dancing with a woman who is revealed to be 'Sonia', alive and well.Raj confronts Vikram, who finally explains the whole devious plan - the woman whom he kissed in Mauritus was his actual wife Sonia Bajaj (Mink Brar), while the woman with him that Priya and Raj were introduced to in Switzerland is his girlfriend Neeta (Bipasha Basu). Vikram, a struggling musician, married the wealthy and glamorous Sonia, and convinced her to take out an insurance plan of $10 million on herself. He then formulated a plan with Neeta to have Sonia killed so that they could collect the money.Vikram boasts about having pinned the murder on Raj. However, Raj takes Vikram to a computer and shows him his empty bank account. Raj says that he had guessed the password, "Everything is planned", something that Vikram used to say a lot, and used it to transfer the money back to the insurance company. Raj also reveals that everything Vikram said had been recorded. A fight erupts between the two and Neeta dies in the conflict. Angered at losing Neeta, Vikram gets aggressive, killing the insurance officer and seemingly kills Raj. He chases Priya to kill her too, but Raj is able to save her. Vikram dies when he is impaled by an anchor from the cruise ship. Now proved innocent, Raj and Priya move back to India.

            The story centers on the legacy of a dead Indian underworld don Baba Baldev Prasad (Om Puri), who dies of a heart attack. He leaves a diamonds worth $200mn at the New York Bank, to be distributed equally between his son Vikrant (Rahul Dev), his daughter Preeti (Preeti Jhangiani), and Preeti's husband Guru Gulab Khatri (Akshay Kumar). To claim the diamonds, all three benefactors must be present at the bank or, if dead, their death certificates must be presented.Shortly after the Don's death, Vikrant attempts to eliminate Guru by assassinating the Indian home minister in full view of television cameras while disguised as him. Guru flees to the US disguised as someone else to escape prosecution. Guru moves to the street where Anmol (Aftab Shivdasani) and his family live. Anmol recognizes him from the news. His mother-in-law (Supriya Pilgaonkar) forces him to go to India, along with his father-in-law, Manilal (Paresh Rawal) to tell Vikrant about Guru and get the reward. But everything turns wrong when Vikrant doesn't give the reward and instead sends Anmol and Manilal back to the USA with his hired men, Yeda Anna (Sunil Shetty) and Chota Chathri (Johnny Lever) to kill Guru. Later, they find out that Yeda Anna was a double agent: He was working for Guru the whole time because he offered more money. The group receive Vikrant and Preeti at the airport and drive to the hotel. At the hotel, Vikrant is kidnapped by a mysterious group of Chinese goons. Yeda Anna receives a phone call and finds out that the kidnapped Vikrant was a duplicate of the real one and the real one was going to come later by plane. They kill the second Vikrant and put his body in a car by the Brooklyn Bridge.With Vikrant's death, Preeti and Guru each get half of the diamonds. When they are outside the bank, a group of policemen arrest them and take them to an unknown desert area. It is revealed that Vikrant is still alive and the first Vikrant was kidnapped by Chinese goons. Vikrant gets the diamonds and tries to kill Guru. A fight occurs. At the end of the fight, Guru kills Vikrant. When it's all over, they ask each other to find out who has the diamonds. Anmol has them and says he will give them to Guru if he gives Preeti a divorce. Guru arrives at the location selected by Anmol and gets the diamonds, while giving Anmol the divorce papers. Yeda Anna betrays Guru and tries to steal the diamonds. Guru wins in a fight and gives the diamonds to Yeda Anna while hanging him to a bar and having him stand on Chota Chathri's shoulders. In the end, Anmol and his love, Preeti, are seen going to India. Anmol's ex-father-in-law gives him some diamonds that he received from Guru. Preeti comments that she didn't know that Guru was so nice.

            It has been eight years since the events of the first movie, Enthiran, in which Chitti is disassembled after his corruption. His creator, scientist Dr. Vaseegaran builds a female android named Nila (Nice Intelligent, Lovely Assistant) and shows her to a group of college students. Shortly after the presentation, one of the college student's cell phone starts to hover in midair, throwing him off his bike. When he tries to grab it, it displays a sparrow on the screen and takes flight into the upper atmosphere. The city of Chennai is thrown into chaos as each and every mobile device in it abruptly flies into the sky. A scientific council led by Home Minister S. Vijay Kumar discusses the nature of the phenomenon. Despite suggestions from the council, Vaseegaran finds it hard to believe the cause is another nation's technology nor alien forces. He explains that the phones are restricted to Chennai and have not crossed the troposphere. A phone company minister at the police station confirms that all the phones are switched off at once, the mass behaving like a hive.Phone retail store owner Jayanth Kumar is seen driving home with an enormous swarm of sentient phones following him. Before he goes to sleep he's interrupted by an audio of his employee telling him that the new shipment of phones they ordered after the chaos has arrived, in his household. The phone swarm reveals itself and traps Kumar in the room, displaying birds on their screens and enter his body, causing him to explode. Police arrive at his house the next day thoroughly confused by the nature of his death as there are no signs of human struggle. Nila and Vaseegaran find scattered minerals and electronic parts of mobile phones. It's revealed that hours before Kumar's murder, his shipment of phones were driven to the rest of the swarm and disappeared. Vaseegaran calls his girlfriend Sana to bait his phone to the rest of the swarm. Him and Nila follow the phone and track it's electromagnetic trail to a small village. They find the swarm active, which manifests as a giant bird's talon. Nila saves Vaseegaran from being killed and the swarm departs.At the council Vaseegaran heavily recommends reactivating his creation, Chitti, to combat the new threat. A member of the council, Dhinendra Bohra,strongly goes against Vaseegaran's plan and explains the destruction Chitti caused eight years prior when he was reprogrammed by his father, whom Chitti murdered. S. Vijay Kumar vetos the plan and decides to have military protection at cell shops and towers. Dhinendra blames Vaseegaran for his father's death and makes it clear that he won't forget. Telecom company owner Manoj Lula is angered at the situation impeding his buisness and complains to telecom minister Vaira Moorthy about it. Lula drives home but the swarm crashes his car and chases him into the forest, where it crushes him to death. The phones shape into a giant bird of prey and take flight.Moorthy is paranoid the next day and has military aid protecting his house. The swarm of phones assault the military at a cell phone tower construction zone and destroy all vehicles and structures. Not long after, Moorthy's phone breaks into the house and inserts itself into his body. Moorthy is admitted into the hospital and Vijay Kumar comes to see him. Moorthy is killed and his phone ruptures through his skin and escapes. A terrified Kumar calls up Vaseegaran and tells him to rebuild Chitti immediatly. It's revealed that Vaseegaran has already retrieved Chitti's old body from a technology museum and is upgrading him with new powers and abilities. Kumar explains that he will hold responsibility for Chitti's actions.The bird attacks the city the following day and dodges the military's defense. A newly built, stronger and faster Chitti battles the bird and leads it outside of town while driving an armored truck. He triggers an explosion when the bird eats the truck and destroys it. The phones now reform into a smaller bird and proceed to attack Chitti, who's low on battery. He crawls to the space station's generator and recharges, but the bird can't enter through the satellite antennae of the station and becomes shocked back. The bird retreats and Chitti shows Vaseegaran the data later. Chitti deduces the nature of the entity to be an aura, specifically a collected mass of negatively charged electrons. Chitti explains that the aura of a living animal will be positively charged and a deceased being will be negatively charged. A scientist at the space station states that they send positive charged signals to search for extraterrestrial life, meaning that the negative charged bird was incapable of entering the stream. Vaseegaran builds a photon synthesizer that emits positive signals at the target, hoping it will contain the entity. Upon analyzing footage of the attack, Vaseegaran sees that a human face shows up on the bird. Nila gives Vaseegaran information on all unusual cell phone related deaths that occurred recently. It turns out that a day before the phones developed this behavior, a man committed suicide just the day before at a cell tower.Vaseegaran, Nila, and Chitti drive the A.I.R.D bus carrying the synthesizer to the village where the phones rest. The bird comes to life and tries to destroy the machine, but Chitti guards it and the majority of the aura is contained in the device. The partially destroyed bird manifests as an egg and hatches into a humanoid figure. Vaseegaran recognizes him as the deceased ornithologist Pakshi Rajan. Chitti tries to convince him to stop attacking, but Pakshi refuses and tries to destroy the machine. Chitti asks why he's doing all this and what Pakshi has against humanity. Pakshi takes him to a dilapidated house, in which a flashback reveals that it was his home and sanctuary for a number of birds he cared for. He tells his student about how a sparrow revived him when he was born still, and since then he has been passionate for birds his whole life. But most recently, since the popularity of modern mobile phones the population of birds in India have been in decline. Pakshi recognizes that radiation from mobile devices is messing with bird's abilities to navigate and think, driving many individuals to insanity and sickness. He holds seminars and protests regarding this but is quickly dismissed and mocked for his concern. He talks to Lula about this, who kicks him out of his office for wasting his time, holding importance to his business and money. Pakshi's own friends turn on him as the demand for cell phone usage removes their land for business when they're unable to farm, with the decline of bird populations leading to overpopulating insects eating too much crops. Over time, one by one all the birds in Pakshi's sanctuary and in the wild, even newborn chicks suffer trauma and pain before death. A heartbroken Pakshi talks to Moorthy and angrily accuses him of the events that have occurred, that there's no reason to hold the lives of birds below humanity when they're the reason for their society's existence. Moorthy retaliates stating that they follow their laws and uphold their business, despite Pakshi previously realizing that the companies have increased radiation standards illegally to increase profit and consumers. Pakshi files a court case but the companies turn their radiation down just before inspection and the case is denied. Pakshi becomes distraught and cries at his bird's graves. He becomes bitter and fantasized murdering every ignorant person who has killed the majority of birds through their hobbies. He becomes depressed and hangs himself at a phone tower. His spirit is awoken by the radiation emitted from the tower and absorbs the souls of all the deceased birds in the city, also absorbing their pain. His spirit transforms into a vengeful aura overwhelmed by grief and begins going on killing sprees against the public.After listening, Chitti sympathizes with Pakshi's pain but explains that killing all those people won't change anything. Pakshi states that the people are too ignorant and careless to understand how their usage of technology is destroying the nature around them. He vows to kill every human whom has contributed, but before he can escape Vaseegaran traps his soul in the neutralization device. Vaseegaran, Chitti, and Nila are applauded by the council for their heroic efforts and an issue is placed by Kumar that an army of 500 Chittis will be donated to the military to protect the nation. Dhinendra becomes jealous of Chitti's victory and breaks into Vaseegaran's lab to release Pakshi's spirit. Pakshi regains control over the phones and possesses Vaseegaran to prevent Chitti from thwarting him. Pakshi, now in his human form has superhuman strength and starts killing people in the city again. Chitti refrains from stopping his own creator and Pakshi dismembers him. Nila breaks into the police station and upgrades Chitti to his 2.0 evil alter ego who won't hesitate to kill Vaseegaran if he has too.Pakshi imprisons eighty thousand people at a soccer stadium and kills Dhinendra, who was present at the game by dousing him in radiation. Chitti breaks into the stadium and summons his army. He and Pakshi shapeshift and battle furiously, but when Chitti is depowered, Pakshi creates several bird drones to tear his army apart. Before he can destroy Chitti, a microbot of Chitti's creation named Kutti interrupts him. He and hundreds of Kuttis, mounted on doves threaten to hurt them if Pakshi doesn't stand down. They self destruct and destroy the drones. After Chitti shoots Vaseegaran, Pakshi leaves his body. The Kutti bots lead Pakshi to the space station and trap him in the signal streams, where Chitti overwhelms him with positive charge and destroys his aura. Vaseegaran recovers in the hospital and explains to a visiting Kumar that Pakshi's violence was wrong but his words were true, and that humanity had no right to bathe in the luxuries of the world at the cost of animal's lives. If they remain careless both nature and technology will turn on them like Pakshi has. Kumar puts forth an order to protect what remains of the bird populations and Chitti starts a relationship with Nila.In the end credits, Vaseegaran's phone transforms into a Kutti bot who enthusiastically greets him.
    


            Salman Khan as usually is the "cool" guy in this move, and surprisely Akshay Kumar plays a really different role, not an action hero this time, not a funny guy (comedy), not a villain, but a nerd!

            Sapna (Kajol), the daughter of the Saigal family's driver, is a simple, fun-loving girl, but her dreams are not as simple. She envies the rich and comfortable lifestyle of the Saigal family and dreams to be rich herself someday.Vijay Saigal (Akshay Kumar) and Vicky Saigal (Saif Ali Khan) are heirs to the Saigal Industries. Vijay, an introvert by nature runs the entire Saigal family business, while Vicky is an irresponsible Casanova and an outrageous flirt. An incident causes friction between them, when he hurts Sapna and reminds her of being from a lower status. Sapna leaves her small town to come to Bombay - a city of dreams, where luck favours her and success embraces her. Her talent and hard work stands out and she gets noticed among her peers and becomes the countrys topmost model. That's when she becomes Vicky's dream girl and goes back to her home town to avenge her insult. Big brother, Vijay takes upon himself to iron out the differences, but gets attracted by Sapna's simplicity and finds himself falling in love with her. On the other hand, Vicky also falls for Sapnas charm and unlike his flirtatious self, sees himself transform into someone who understands the meaning of true love. How the story evolves in this complex situation among these three individuals forms the crux of this film, where one brother is ready to give his life for love and the other is ready to sacrifice his love for his brother's life.

            The film revolves around a struggling road constructor, Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar). He dreams big but there seems to be no chance of his dreams coming true as he doesn't have any money to bribe the babus. To make matters worse, the new municipal commissioner turns to be his former girl friend, Ganpule Madam (Trisha Krishnan), who now hates him. Even as Sachin stumbles from one disaster to another, the film brings to the fore the extent of corruption that's rampant in the system.

            Shiva (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief in Mumbai who falls in love with Paro (Sonakshi Sinha) from Patna. He tells her the truth about being a thief and resolves to give up crime because he loves Paro dearly. Before that, he decides to commit a large robbery along with his con-friend 2G (Paresh Ganatra), which would enable him to earn a lot of money; hence he can give up crime. He "tricks" a woman on a railway station and flees with a trunk. This leads Shiva to Chinki, a little girl who was in the trunk instead of the wealth he thought was there. Chinki thinks that he is her father. Puzzled, he is forced to keep Chinki with him, as a police officer Vishal Sharma (Yashpal Sharma) keeps his eye on him.Shiva fears Paro will catch him with Chinki and he will lose her forever. He finds a photo of Chinki and her father, who looks exactly like Shiva, thus realizing why Chinki thinks Shiva is her father. It is revealed that Chinki's father is Vikram Rathore (Akshay Kumar), who is a brave cop, who criminals fear. While chasing a goon to find his daughter, Rathore gets hit by an auto and his brain endures severe trauma. The doctor tells him that the brain injury is serious enough to put his life in danger.After a few days, Shiva gets fed up with Chinki and breaks the tape recorder she uses to listen to her late mother's voice. The next morning, he learns that her mother died. Feeling guilty, he fixes the recorder and becomes fond of Chinki, taking care of her. Unfortunately, Paro sees this and believes he has a daughter that he hid from her and Paro leaves for Patna heartbroken. Soon, the goons who are after Rathore see Shiva. Thinking he is Rathore, they start chasing him. Shiva and Chinki flee for their lives and encounter the woman from the railway station and the police officer from earlier, who tell Shiva to run. Shiva is soon surrounded by the goons. It is revealed that Rathore is watching the whole thing from the top of a building. Just as Shiva is about to get stabbed, Rathore jumps down, killing one of goons.Shiva and the goons are shocked to see the identical-looking Rathore. Rathore locks Shiva and Chinki in a cell for safety, and starts fighting the goons. His brain injury gets worse but he eventually kills every goon by himself.At the hospital, Shiva realizes that the railway station woman is in fact a real police officer, Insp.Razia Khan (Gurdeep Kohli). The officers tell Shiva that the man who looks like him is ASP Vikram Rathore, a disciplined and respected police officer.The officers narrated the whole incident to Shiva. Six months ago, Rathore traveled to a village called Devgarh as the new ASP. There, a goon called Baapji (Nassar) and his son Munna trouble, torture and annex money from the villagers. Rathore immediately arrests Munna for raping Vishal Sharma's wife but he is released because of Baapji's political influence. Baapji arranges a party celebrating Munna's release. At the party, Munna humiliates the police officers and makes them pull their pants down. Rathore, being the next target, moves back to the balcony, where Munna falls by slipping bullet,which Rathore puts and gets hanged by the belt of a humiliated inspector. The next day, Rathore gets attacked by Baapji's brother Titla (Supreeth Reddy), where he is stabbed at the back while the people were celebrating Munna's death and shot in the head while trying to save a village child. He is then assumed to be dead. While the police officers are getting ready to bury him, he starts breathing, having survived. Everybody promises not to disclose this to anyone. The officers then took Rathore to Mumbai for treatment. After Shiva hears the whole story, the doctors say that Rathore doesn't have much time left. Rathore requests Shiva to take care of his daughter. Shiva promises and says that Chinki is now his daughter. Rathore dies holding Shiva's hand.Shiva vows to complete Rathore's unfinished work. He takes on Rathore's identity and goes to Devgarh with Chinki to take revenge. He sets Baapji's liquor factory on fire and distributes the grains and money back to the villagers. Paro finds out the truth, and that Shiva will now always be Vikram Rathore. She apologizes to him and vows that she will also take care of Chinki. In a heavy climax, Shiva eventually kills Baapji and Titla. The people of Devgarh are now safe. Shiva marries Paro and starts his new life as a police officer with her, Chinki, Razia, Vishal, and 2G.

            Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) and Ram Mishra (Suniel Shetty) are lucky in love, otherwise their life is strife. Nitin is stuck as a servant cum driver of Kuljeet Kaur (Archana Puran Singh), according to the conditions of a loan which his father had taken to educate Nitin. Kuljeet is the owner of many malls, restaurants, and other places in Singapore, where this whole story is based. Nitin is fed up with Kuljeet's dog, Moolchand Ji, who always puts Nitin into trouble.Ram works for a courier service in Singapore. He had originally come there to work in Chinese films, but was not selected. Anjali Kakkad (Katrina Kaif), is in love with Nitin and Manpreet Oberoi (Sameera Reddy) is in love with Ram. Both of their girlfriends are rich, and they put a condition - get money or forget us.Inspector Wilson Parera (Sharat Saxena) is on the trail of Harbans Chadda (Paresh Rawal) who has nine arrest warrants due to cheque bounces. He is eager to get his son, Nonny Chadda (Chunkey Pandey) married, so that he can get dowry of the wedding and pay of all his debts. He finalizes Nonny's wedding with Anjali, after her father, Kakkad (Tinu Anand), brings up the topic. Later at a casino, Chadda meets Mr. Oberoi (Manoj Joshi). After finding out that Oberoi is one of the richest Indians in Singapore, he lies to Oberoi to fix Nonny's wedding with Manpreet, which finally works out. As he didn't inform Kakkad, Kakkad gets really angry with Harbans. To counter Harbans, Kakkad fixes his daughter Anjali's wedding with someone else.At the same casino where Harbans met Oberoi, Musha Heerapoorwala (Shakti Kapoor), decides to get married to Anu Chopra (Neha Dhupia), a dancer at that casino. After his brother-in-law finds out, he hires a Mafia Don, Maamu (Asrani), to kill Musha. Maamu sends his best assassin, Kaala Krishna Murali (Johnny Lever) to do the job. To hide from his wife, Musha books a room in Pan Pacific Hotel under the name Suber.To get rid of all problems and earn some money, Nitin and Ram decide to kidnap Moolchand Ji, as that is the only thing 'living' that Kuljeet, the rich lady, loves. But things go wrong - after they reached Pan Pacific Hotel, the place where they decide to stay, they realize that Moolchand Ji has escaped, causing the police to believe that its Nitin who has been kidnapped. Things worsen when Anjali runs away from home and reaches their room. Initially, Kuljeet refuses to pay the ransom to the kidnappers, but after all her customers decide to go on a strike, she agrees to pay the ransom. As Nitin does not want to go back to Kuljeet, they come up with a plan - they decide to get a dead body from Maamu and throw it onto the railway tracks, along with his driving licence, and then spread the news that the kidnappers have killed Nitin.Harbans' and Oberoi's families come to Pan Pacific Hotel, where the wedding is going to take place. Harbans and Oberoi click a photo to celebrate their families uniting. To give the advance money to Maamu, Nitin waits at the entrance of Pan Pacific, waiting for Maamu's man to come and say the code 'I'm Maamu's man'. But Kakkad arrives at the hotel, and chases Nitin into Harbans' room. Nitin tries to hide under the bed, but there is no place for him. At the same time, Harbans enters his room and to hide from Harbans, Nitin hides inside the wardrobe. Fed up of his calls, Harbans throws his mobile into the wardrobe and locks it, causing Nitin to get stuck in a wardrobe.Next what happens is De Dana Dan - confusion, mistaken room numbers, mistaken identities. and continuous chases. Kakkad breaks into Paramjeet Singh Lamba's (Vikram Gokhale) room, who is the Indian Ambassador. Harbans mistakes Anu for Anjali, which causes great confusion later. Musha's photo, gets exchanged with Oberoi's photo, so Kaala tries to kill Oberoi. Wilson reaches Harbans' room and searches for Harbans, and opens the wardrobe to find Nitin, and mistakes him as Harbans. In an attempt to kill Oberoi, Kaala ends up falling onto Ram's and Nitin's truck, which they take to pick up the ransom. While picking up the ransom, Nitin gets left behind, and is taken to the hospital, while Ram takes the money and reaches the hotel, and Kaala is assumed to be the kidnapper, as he was on top of the truck. And to top it all, Maamu arrives at the hotel with a dead body that nobody wants. In the end, a bomb enters the water-tank of the hotel, which causes it to burst and make the hotel flood. At the end, Nitin, Anjali, Ram and Manpreet get the money and live happily ever after, even though nobody else is happy.

            The movie starts with Jai Puri (Akshay Kumar), a police officer, chasing a poacher and repeat offender through the woods. When the poacher has nowhere else to go, he throws his trap against the commands of the police officers. "No evidence. No crime." Jai simply smiles and takes off in the other direction. He jumps from a 100-foot cliff into the sea. He is able to hold his breath for over 4 minutes and when he resurfaces, he has the trap in his hand. After returning to the police station, a woman with a missing husband is waiting on Jai. She took a picture with her phone right before he went missing. With this picture, Jai uses his powers to look into the past. But he only has a minute to stay in the past, or his life is in danger. By concentrating on the picture, he can see what happened in the time following the moment the picture was taken. With her husband's photo, he saw that had fallen into a ravine and was able to tell her the location. He is rescued.On his way home, his girlfriend, Sheila Patel (Ayesha Takia), tells him the news that his father has had an accident. While talking to him at the scene, Jai's father tries to tell Jai that he saw something on the boat, but dies of a heart attack before he can say anything. Everyone believes that Jai's father's death was an accident. His father leaves Jai nothing in his will, but leaves it all to his mother. Jai doesn't care, but his mother tells him that his father was planning on giving his wealth to Jai's environment organization. The next morning, Jai asks Sheila to marry him, and he happily agrees. Later, a detective named Happi (Javed Jaffrey) shows up. He tells Jai that he thinks his father was murdered and offers a theory, but Jai refuses to listen. Happi does not let up. He does research and discovers that Jai's mother did not allow an autopsy to be done on his father. When Jai finds out, he confronts his mother, who says she did so because of religious purposes, but Jai is skeptical. His mother tells him not to listen to Happi, that she knows him and he is totally crazy. So Jai tells Happi to stay away from his family, but he still doesn't know what to believe. So Jai uses his powers to put himself in his father's place. He sees that after talking to his Uncle Sundar, his father sat on a railing on the boat, which then snapped, he then fell in the water which caused his heart attack. However, Jai stays inside the picture too long and must be rushed to the hospital. There Jai tries to explain his powers to his good friend Adit (Rushad Rana), but Adit just calls him crazy.After leaving the hospital and while looking for clues, Jai spots Uncle Sundar and chases him down. Jai asks him if he killed his father, but Sundar does not answer. Jai vows to find the truth. Later, Jai agrees to listen to Happi's theory. Happi suggests that someone slipped Jai's father beta blocker pills because they knew he had a history of heart attacks, and if he fell in the cold water, his heart would surely stop after taking the pills. Jai insists that because his father always sat on that railing, someone had sawed broken it so he would fall. But they needed to know who did it and why. So Jai travels into the picture again as Sundar. He then discovers that Sundar did, indeed, put beta blockers in his dad's champagne. But Jai stayed too long again, and when he is rushed to the hospital Sheila is angry, so Jai tells her everything. They both then go together to Sundar's apartment to confront him, only to discover that he's hung himself.Afterwards, while Sheila and Jai are riding bikes, a huge truck almost runs them off the road. Sheila is furious and accuses Jai of risking their lives for over something that's probably a delusion. He agrees and promises not to enter the pictures again. Jai goes to his mother's house to move in, but sees her and his father's friend, Anil (Girish Karnad), together. Anil admits that he loves her, and Jai gets upset and storms out. Later, Jai is drinking with Adit at a bar. He flat out asks if Adit murdered his father, since they were business partners that may have had a disagreement, but Adit denies it and tells Jai to chill. When Jai meets up with Happi again, Happi tells Jai go meet with Bibiji (Uttara Baokar) for help with his powers. He goes, and Bibiji tells him that his powers must have been brought on by something that happened in his past. She also tells him that he must be careful, because if a picture is torn or destroyed while Jai is inside it, he will be trapped inside forever. After Jai leaves, someone comes into Bibiji's home and kills her.Later, Jai and Happi are at the hospital. Jai wants to go into the picture for the last time to see who else was working with Sundar, but will be in there long so he needs medical staff standing by. So Happi asks his bitter ex-lover Sally (Pia Shah) for help. Happi had stood Sally up for their wedding long ago, but Sally reluctantly agrees anyway. Before going into the picture, Jai tells them to be ready to transfuse the blood. He goes in as Anil this time, but discovers that Anil did nothing to hurt his father. He almost dies, so Happi calls Sheila there. She reluctantly agrees to let Jai go in as the last person in the picture, Adit. When he does this, he discovers that Adit was the one who put the pills by the champagne for Sundar. As he is coming back, Jai's heart stops. He is revived, but can barely move. Also, Sheila has to leave for work, so she's called Adit to drive Jai home. Adit threatens Jai to keep his mouth shut, but Jai texts Happi the identity of the killer. Happi tries to go after Adit, but he gets away. Skipping town. So Jai goes to Anil for answers as to who wanted his father dead and why. Anil tells Jai that Jai's father announced to Anil, Adit, Sundar, himself, and Jai's mother that he was going to transfer the company wealth to Jai's organization. But since they were all shareholders, they would lose a fortune from this decision. However, he gave the paperwork to Jai's mother to sign, so his last wish could be carried out. Jai panics, realizing that the killer would go after his mother next.Jai speeds to his house to warn his mother, calling her, but she's already welcomed the killer into her house as she is signing the papers and is not answering the phone. Just as she's finally about to pick up, the killer stabs her. Jai arrives and runs after the killer, but he gets away. Before sending his mother off to the hospital, she tells Jai to look in the attic for clues of the identity of the killer. He does so and decides to go into the picture as his father for the last time to see what he was trying to tell Jai he saw before he died. He gets an adrenaline shot from Sally who says that if he presses it, he will regain consciousness immediately, but warns Jai that it could kill him.At the climax of the film, Jai is in the picture once more, but the killer is in his house and has the unconscious Jai at gunpoint. But, instead of shooting him, the killer decides to burn the picture, which Jai is unaware of. He is still seeing the murder in his father's eyes, and as he is falling off the boat, he sees himself, watching him die. The picture burns almost completely as Jai presses the adrenaline shot. He does not regain consciousness, but his twin is looking him in the face, taunting him. It is shown that Jai had a twin brother named Jeet, who fell off of a cliff when they were little boys and Jai tried to save him. After the accident, they both live but Jai has repressed the memories of the accident. So the doctor advises Jai's parents to get rid of anything that could remind Jai of Jeet, especially pictures. They even lock Jeet away in a shed. So Jeet has come back to take Jai's place, and have ownership of their father's inheritance, and get the life back that Jai stole from him.Jeet and his lover, Sheila, celebrate how easily they've killed Jai, until they notice that Jai is awake -- and he has a gun. Jai is heartbroken by Sheila's betrayal, but suddenly they hear Happi at the door. Jeet wrestles Jai to the ground with his feet around Jai's throat so he can't scream. Sheila rushes to the door and tries to assure Happi that everything is alright, but Jai manages to fire the gun, Happi hears it, and forces himself in. He does not know which man is the real Jai. He asks Sheila for help, but Sheila, of course, rushes to Jeet's side. Happi begins to arrest Jai, but Jai tells Happi not to fool Sally again -- exactly what he told him before going into the picture for the last time.Happi realizes that he IS the real Jai, and starts towards the real criminals, but when he raises up Sheila plunges an ax into his chest. Jeet and Sheila chain Jai and Happy up and take them out on the boat. Jeet explains his plan. How he got Adit into the planned and killed Sundar because he was afraid he would talk. Then how he got Jai to fall in love with Sheila so Jeet could learn everything about Jai to be just like him. But he had to kill their father by sawing the railing so he wouldn't give his fortune away. He also had to kill their mother so she wouldn't sign the papers. They then push the chained Jai and Happi into the ocean and begin celebrating again. But Jai remembers that Happi always keeps a gun in his sock, and with Jai's amazing ability to hold his breath underwater, he retrieves the gun and shoots the lock to the chain off. He gets back on the boat and holds Sheila at gunpoint. But Jai doesn't want anyone to die. He puts the gun down, even though Jeet has a gun on him, and offers Jeet another chance at a family. At brotherhood. Sheila screams at Jeet to just shoot Jai, but Jeet remembers the good times they had when they were younger and starts to lower his gun, but shoots it. He's shot Sheila, who had tried to shoot Jai with Happi's gun. Sheila dies, but not before shooting Jeet. Jai runs over to Jeet, and watches his long lost brother die in his arms with tears in his eyes.

            The film starts with Akhil Lokande (Akshay Kumar) getting paid for doing an ad, where he gets into a spat, as he wasn't paid the full amount of money that they had talked about. This continues with a few other ads, where Akhil constantly ends the spat when he gets a phone call, and says he has to go somewhere. He then arrives on a shoot where Saakshi (Tamannaah Bhatia) is shooting for her television series. After her shoot lets out, they go for a walk around the park, observing other couples. At the end of their walk, Akhil proposes to Saakshi. Akhil and Saakshi go to her father's (Mithun Chakraborty) house, where they are told that until Akhil becomes rich, he can't marry Saakshi.Akhil goes to his film-obsessed friend's shop, where it is (Darshan Jariwala) who turns out to have no pains, and is dancing around with the nurse, only staying in the hospital, because it has service like a 5-Star hotel. Akhil arrives just in time to hear this, and goes to beat up his father, when he reveals that Akhil is adopted and his real father wasn't ready for a child so his mother left, but was killed in a train crash. Luckily Akhil survived, and was sent to his adoptive father. Then Akhil beats him up. He goes back to his house, and opens the chest that he never had before, which contains love letters from his real father, to his mother, and a locket with his father and mother's pictures. He discovers that his father is Pannalal Johri (Dalip Tahil) who is a billionaire in Bangkok. Right as he finds this, on the television comes news that Pannalal Johri is dead and his 30 crore's will go to anyone who can prove that they are related to Pannalal Johri.
